As the days grow longer and the sun burns hotter, what better way to beat the heat than by donning your best yukata and partaking in the excitement of the Sunbreeze Festival! From fireworks and goldfish scooping to testing your mettle in haunted dungeons or joining the Rakapopo Dancers in the Sunbreeze Shuffle, there is a little something for everyone!

The Sunbreeze festival begins at 1:00 on the morning of Thursday, July 26. Check back here on Thursday for more information!

I still have 4 fish and two EX items from last year used to make the fish tanks. I should really get on that...
 
I love this Event. Was my first one i got to be apart of when I start ffxi, and I look forward to participating again!! ;D
 
Summerfest forever reminds me of my first days in the game. I joined during Summerfest 2004 and spent lots of time killing crabs in South Gustaberg as a WAR with no sub :D

...and to think back then that North Gustaberg was "a long trip" to me, haha.
 
I hope theres a quest involved with getting the gear. I never liked just being able to buy it.

I don't get how an event can be compared to two cartoon men having hardcore anal with eachother.

I couldn't think of anything else at the time....but I'm sorry, the Summer Festival music is totally gay sounding.....and that coming from a gay man. :wacko:

Meh, I tend to like it. Adds a bit of variety to the same music looping over and over again as I sit in windy leveling my bonecraft. or clothcraft. or whatever the hell I was doing last year.
 
Woot!! now i can get rid for that damn goldfish set when I catch more fishies!! My craft skills are high enough this year, so bring on the Super Scoops and i have my clamming suit from last year!!

Certain assault missions that make you feel like you've just had hardcore anal after you get done with them.

Salvage drop rates.

I love the summerbreeze fest, it'll bring back a lot of memories for me, starting out in this game and such, especially the music, I love it and its cheesiness. Also, I started July 31st 2 years ago... but I'll be making up a topic on that in good times when that day comes up.

I'll be looking forward to goldfish scooping the most I think though, since I started to take up fishing, and last time I got into it, there was only a few days left so I traded some in for a small reward, and tossed the rest I believe when it ended.
