That saying can kiss my white ass...mobs can effing attack you while your running, but we can't attack them when we're running?...I'm sure you all have had your experiences...

A lot of mobs move just slightly faster than players. I'm guessing intentional programming effect strictly for this reason.

This is true. Even normal speed mobs seem to keep up with the normal speed of players. Because they never touched me with w legs :P

It's rediculous. And I though when they fixed the MPK crap after runnin' for a long time they disapear and stop following you? I would pull in Kazham or something and the mandy just stops and disapears and I have to get another one, yet I'm leaving Garliage and a lynx agros me and follows me ALL THE WAY to Jeuno and I died just before the zone...

Certain mobs also run faster than other mobs >.> What link was it?

Mobs move the exact same speed as you. But because of latency, mobs are actualy ahead of where you see them on your screen.

Exactly, which is why I run slightly ahead of them so I can still melee.

Still wont get over the fact of lag, it will never cease to amaze us...

I hate how mobs can move while casting spells. That's h4x!

No, h4x is the Mamool Blusters casting silena on themselves.

FFXI is a hack...it steals away your life points and takes your money with out you relizing it...

I just relized another thing, they can walk up a cliff in one step, yet we have to find a path to get up? So much for usuing your enviroment to your advantage...they should stop making expansions and add a bit more realism to the game by making mobs go up as you have to, and let us swim for crying out loud...no fun, plus jumping...anyone here against jumping and swiming? How awsome would it be to have an underwater fight and your HP slowly goes down as well as getting hit or something? Seriously...or falling and taking damage? (Just thinking out loud...)

Mobs climb walls to keep players from finding an invincible safe spot that they aren't programmed to path to, and if you take latency into account, you can hit mobs on the move most of the time....
...the exception of course being summoner... silly avatars can't account for it...

agreed you THINK that SE would let us mages move just a little not as much as the mobs while casting? i know for quick spells we can but when a mob is coming at you casting stoneskin and meleeing on you it's just wrong...

I think you're looking for a different game...

Yeah, sounds like he wants WoW.

If you unlock your target, can't you attack and WS them while running? I thought there was some nifty little trick like that, but I'm not too sure.
