The Tester (PSN reality series for download)

[Liefe]

Kind of an interesting show. It's not a game per se, but is a free (at least so far) PSN download series. It pits a group of gamers against each other for the chance at being an SCEA game tester with a $5000 signing bonus. What do you guys think? Should gamers have their own reality tv?

I personally think it's kind of interesting so far. I am hard pressed to think their names were ones they had prior to going on the show. They're all 1 syllable, lack the letter X or any number, and don't have mention of Cloud or Sephiroth. I think the choice of people is kind of interesting though and I want to see if it gets interesting. If you have 30 minutes to kill watching it, it's available for download in the Playstation Store. Anyone else watch it?

The payoff is being a game tester.
That is not a reward. That's a punishment.

lol
I would maybe agree but if they have higher aspirations it is definitely a good starting ground. Like if they wanted to work their way more into development?

That's what is funny about it. These idiots are competing over a shitty job, haha.

Liefe, they'd be better off going to college or completing a Full Sail program or something. Chances are they aren't goin' to make it onto a second testing of a game much less further than that. Unless of course Sony has planted a success story in there for us. I wouldn't put it past them...
