Lokkin had had a long night. not only had he spent the last of his gil on the airship flight,. but noone was willing to accept a whm's help with the overwhelming amount of beasts in the jungle.

It was a gloomy day in Yuhtunga Jungle, t had been raining mot of the day
and the monsters and beastmen were running free roam over all that were in there path. Lokkin, being a white mage, helped anyone he could escape death and brought back anyone from a painful miserable end in the jungle if he could. Lokkin was not happy with his job, he had delved in the black arts, took up thievery and even tried to cleanse his soul as a monk but nothing worked. He had been a White Knight for a short period of time but soon grew restless with that too.

He now realized his path lay elsewhere.

He talked to Ensetsu, a resident of Port Bastok and once married to a ninja. Ensetsu had asked Lokkin if he could get some oddly shaped coral because he had sent something away through the tenshodo and wanted it back, but the buyer would accept nothing less than this coral found in Korroloka. So Lokkin went to korroloka tunnel, accompanied by a samurai whom had offered her help to obtain the coral. After long hours of searching they found the coral and then a battle ensued.

Lokkin, still undertaken with white magic pulsing through his veins. Attempted to back away while the samurai jumped forward and proceeded to slash at the leeches with very precise strikes.
After the battle Lokkin obtained the coral while the samurai pursued another leech. And before he knew it Lokkin was in possesion of not only the odd coral sought after by the Mysterious Norg buyer, Ryuba. but also a red ruby that glowed and shook from time to time.

Lokkin put both these items in his pack thanked the samurai and headed back to ensetsu.

And then Lokkin found out he would have to go to norg... a place he had heard of only in passing and never paid much attention to.

And now that had changed.

Lokkin sought others like himself whom had also sought after norg, for reasons that he didn't want to find out. So, Lokkin Achitame continued his quest with his new companions.

Upon arriving at norg he found a moogle and decided he would remove the white magic pulsing through him for black magic, and then sought after Ryuba.

After much searching he found Ryuba, in possesion of a sealed blade.

Ryuba knew whi Lokkin had come immediatly and held out the hand with the blade and the other hand, whilst Lokkin fetched the coral and gave it to him.

In possesion of the blade Lokkin warped back to Bastok markets and headed for ensetsus house after stopping at the Steaming Sheep inn for a drink or two.

After much discussion Lokkin handed the blade to Ensetsu and, in return, ensetsu gave him a scroll that tought the ways of the ninja.

Wiping the tree sap from his face for the third time in a minute, Lokkin got up and took the katana out of his boots.

Lokkin had been practising most of the day and still gad not gotten used to the easy way the katana cut through flesh, hide or goblin armour. The clean cut was almost scary.

Waving to one of the many adventurers running by and staring at this unknown ninja, he decided to give it a rest and headed back to San'doria.

Even as a bastokan he would've much prefered being in San'doria. Most of his friends had suggested changing alliance but, as a ninja, he was hunted enough without being a traitor too. He figured he could put up with the insults as he walked through the gate into San'doria.

Much of his energy had been used to practise his blade skills but there was the occasional curious Wild Rabbit that got a little more than curious. Amazed at how the blade cut through the hide as he was he still had to keep an even balance and concentrate... he hadn't been exactly purged of all excitement when he travelled through the Sea Serpent Grotto a week or so before.

It was late and Lokkin had never thought of the shadows this way. Safe. Concealing. The perfect hiding place. So, looking around, he decided to see if he could avoid any insults while heading back to his mog house for bed.

Lokkin was shocked! It was thrilling! Scuttling along the walls. Climbing across the roof tops. He had never felt this way before. He almost didnt realise his mog house as it loomed into sight.

Abandoning his newly found entertainment, he jumped down from the roofs, landing on the cobblestones with amazing grace and not making a sound, he entered his mog house.

"Good Night Mugo." he called to his moogle in that gruff voice he had when he spoke... IF he spoke.

"Good night master! kupo!" his moogle hollared back.

Lokkin, half dressed, went to bed an lay down on his comfortable, even if used Rent-A-Room bed.

OOC: thank god, i thought this was all dead

IC: "Another day, another boring time of trying to make a living in this god forsaken place," Lokkin said upon waking.

Getting up, and getting dressed, Lokkin walked out of his Rent-a-room into the already busy streets of South San'doria.

He never did like the fact that most of the cities were crowded, anymore than 3 people in any one place made him edgy for some reason, he knew why, he just never did like admitting it, even to himself.

"Maybe now I can finally get some leads on what happened that day..." he thought.

Smiling quietly to himself from afar, Lecan keeps a close eye on Lokkin. "Clumsy humes...." Taking a puff on his cigarette he slowly follows Lokkin down the streets of San d'Oria, his pace relaxed, his features grim.

"What the hell is going on?!" Lokkin screamed.

He was surrounded by about 14 orcs, it wasn't that he couldnt have beaten them easily, it was the fact the katana kept passing through the orcs unnoticed,

"Clear your thoughts," said a voice from somewhere in the surrounding forest, "The katana can feel your panic, your fear."

Lokkin did that, and took another strike, the orc went down with even more ease than usual.

Trying not to lapse back into thoughts he broke through the other 12 orcs.

"Who are you?!" he shouted into the forest, but the voice was gone.

Lokkin turned to leave and was struck into the tree by the remaining orc, who didn't trust the fact that Lokkin really WAS unconscious and made a run for it anyway.

IC:"I DID say sorry, it was crowded in there," he said more than a bit defensively, "got ambushed by a dozen or so orcs, lost track of one, and he bashed my neck, then ran off, now i can't move."

Smiling from afar, Lecan watched the Mithra and the Clumshy hume talk to each other. Quietly he says to himself, "Quite the powerful one i must say....i must keep a close watch on this one..." Slowly Lecan makes his way closer to the two, trying his best to keep himself hidden. Behind a nearby tree he conceals himself, taking care not allow his lance to poke into view.
