Hopefully AV is beaten after this update and most of the stupid ass theories will be put to rest...
And the people complaining about the fact that some people enjoy theorizing about av will stfu and get over themselves and go post in a different thread that they "don't enjoy reading"
http://wiki.bluegartrls.com/Absolute_Virtue_%28meme%29 said:Absolute Virtue is a monster that can appear randomly after Jailer of Love has been defeated. It is regarded very tough and all of it's previous kills have been through glitches or illegal methods. However, there is a secret way to defeat AV. Actually, many secret ways. Unfortunately, once a player has passed Promathia Mission 8-1, he is unable to see how to defeat AV. This is why experienced players should listen to players who have no experience what-so-ever.
It is believed to defeat AV, you have to lock out his ability to use any 2hr, very potent spells, his very potent regen, and powerful weapon skills. Those players with no experience have listed the methods to lock such powerful traits:
- Ebon Panels
- Face the direction aligned with the element of the day.
- Do a weapon skill with the virtue weapons.
- Do a skillchain with the virtue weapons.
- Do a skillchain with the sin weapons.
- Do a skillchain with a virtue weapon and a sin weapon.
- Do a barrelroll with a virtue weapon.
- Do a little dance and make a little love with a virtue weapon.
- Touch an Ebon Panel with a virtue weapon.
- Feel the emotion of the virtue weapon that you curently have equipped. This is done by plugging in an audio device and talking into it. For example, if you had the weapon Justice Sword equipped you would say "I feel very justice."
- Tap your JP Button with a virtue weapon.
- Trade your virtue weapon to the Jailer of Hope's ???.
- Trust your virtue weapon.
- Be your virtue weapon.
- Believe in the heart of the cards.
- Summon Dialga to use Roar of Times.
- Face the direction aligned with the element of your virtue weapon. For HQ results, face the opposite direction.
- All of the above, simultaneously.
- Have every kclub DRK transfer to Remora to summon Captain Planet.
- Throw Sage Sundi at it.
- Do the hokey pokey and turn yourself around.
- Kite it around the teleporters.
- Bring a phalanx of stunners.
Do a barrelroll with a virtue weapon.
A phalanx of stunners;
Not that hard nowadays. couple dnc and blus and your set with a neverending supply of stuns, and all of them can have utsu up.
Using the same 2 hour as AV will lock that 2 hour. This came from the video released be the dev team, specifically the part where 3 things happen. Everyone 2 hours WITH AV, it zooms up for this, AND a couple whms all pop benediction for some obscure reason when no one in the pt is even remotely close to dying.
Aside from that, the chances of the jailor's weapons are slim to none, though they may do something like have an added hidden effect we didn't notice VS jailor type mobs.
And throwing a virtue stone is, mmm, I'd say a 1 in 10 chance of doing something. It's kind of an iffy idea.
This is why people yell at you guys for trying to come up with ideas.
Blus and Dancers will never stick stun on Absolute Virtue.
This one made me burst out laughing cause I wasn't ready for it.
But seriously, I think so far the only valid theories that have stuff backing them up is:
A phalanx of stunners;
Not that hard nowadays. couple dnc and blus and your set with a neverending supply of stuns, and all of them can have utsu up.
Or:

Personally if you still refuse to believe the dev team wasn't trying to tell us our 2 hours have something to do with it through these 3 points alone, your retarded, what kind of whm do you know of that 2 hours when no one is hurt...? Let alone 2?

Ebon panels? Once upon a time they WERE the secret weapon, but now...
So we have 1 extremely almost impossible to deny theory (just 2 hours in general, no specifics), 1 strategy that is highly possible, and a second iffy theory that we have yet to just friggin try and see if it works...
>_>;
If it's in the video..but you can't see it..nevermind![]()
Its like swinging a baseball bat at someones head and guessing which eye is going to pop out first, but the man only has one eye...
...what is it with people at qcdn and retardedly stupid similes? Similies at qcdn are like garlic bread that is dipped in chocolate and then wrapped in a tortilla.
If by indirect approach you mean stupid approach then yes, I'll give it to you.
Its so cryptic no one has been able to figure it out and no one will. Thats why they are nerfing it and probably gonna change the trick COMPLETELY before its unveiled.
The crux of the issue is that while Benediction is one of the 2 hours that AV can use, it isn't practical to defeat AV. I'm not sure what you mean by "weakening" 2 hrs, I've never even heard of Bene not returning full HP.
In addition, a lot of people have tried a lot of variations on the "Use 2hr after AV 2hrs" theme, and noone has succeeded in preventing AV from 2hring, delaying AV from 2 hring, or even eliminating/controlling any of AVs 2hrs.
And yet in the video, a significant number of players 2hr for no discernable effect as soon as AV 2hrs, a tactic thats never been seen used on any other mob...
Moink, you're comparing cultural ignorance to disinterest after much research, studying, and attempting.
*whap* No!
