But as for magic aggro, i thought the aggro isnt generated until the spell is CAST. In other words, during the casting, no aggro is generated, but when the spell goes off is when the aggro is created...........then again you said you cast OTHER spells as well right?

You can gain agro while the spell is being cast. Other spells didnt agro, like others have said, it probably had to do with the emnity the PLD had on him while he was dead, it just didnt disapate until he was risen and because of that i got enmity for the spell usage

You can get magic aggro as soon as you start casting. Aura statues in sky are a good example of this.

To agro dropping only if it targets you: no, you can die to Hurricane wing from Fafnir, be kicked, raised, and come back with no hate whatsoever.
 
To settle my mind on this... was there a short story or a poem that SE wrote out for AV? I briefly remember something towards that but I'm not sure... and I can't find it anywhere... If anyone knows of it or a link to it, can you please post it here if possible?

But what if you are not kicked from the alliance? Arent there mobs that will go after the entire alliance or party even IF only one member attacked the mob? And dont some mobs actualy de-pop after killing the person that attacked them WITHOUT going after the pt? i may be wrong...

around 2:42 They Blind Absolute Virtue (with the spell blind) immediately following everysingle person burns theyre 2hour.

This might not be the way to winning it but it seems a bit odd they all use theyre 2hrs useful or not at the same time immediately after zooming the screen in to show that they cast blind on it.

People probably already answered that, but the Two times it poped for us, it raped the alliance/pop pt before we could yell in LS that AV poped, kinda. It pops with aggro on someone, then alliance hate make him destroy everyone.

I believe thats because someone is resting. I've had him pop and not kill everyone before.
 
So he only pops aggressive if youre resting.........doesnt that happen with aggressive mobs that dont aggro cuz theyre too weak for you? You know how if you rest they will aggro you anyways even though theyre too weak?

Moink, AV is 100% pop now. Have you tried your strategy yet?
 
He also packs his shit after two hours. I think it's safe to say that SE's video is, for the most part, null and void.
 
He also now leaves 2 hours after JOL was popped not AV himself
 
He may depop after 2 hours but doesnt mean you cant weaken him, like i said earlier... i believe his weakness will stay in tact and with this update it will become even more important to utilize it
 
Popped JoL last night, extremely easy fight (not like it wasn't pre-patch, though). HP and regen seem to be significantly diminished. Can't say much about AV, we didn't even bother with it.
 
Adjustments have been made to Jailer of Love, Absolute Virtue (and pets), and Pandemonium Warden (and pets) in areas such as HP value and behavior. Pandemonium Warden will now vanish two hours after its appearance, automatically ending the battle. With Absolute Virtue, it will disappear 2 hours after the appearance of Jailer of Love. In addition, the spawn rate for Absolute Virtue has been increased to 100%.

Anything on BG or KI about the latest attempts to kill AV? I mean has any of the bigger shells on other servers tried yet?
