I believe it's one thing to watch people die at the NM their fighting. It's another to not offer to raise them afterwards. Especially after they were good sports about asking whether or not they were killing your mobs, and wishing you good luck on camping. I can't help it we claimed first.

I swear. There is some serious problems with people sometimes.

uh yeah, your flaming me for doing what? nothing? I'm suppose to pause mid fight to raise you? The job is BST, just cause I may walk by doesn't mean I'm not mid fight. I did go back after fight to raise you but apparently you logged to post vitroil on an internet message board. It's not my fault you wiped, you rushed to claim while you had agro. Getting pissy about it and flaming me on a message board I doubt makes this game any better. If you want help with sewer syrup in the future, give me a /tell. My friend got his ring and I've never hesitated to help others
 
First official owned I've seen on the flameboard in forever.
 
That's funny because we're still there. Excim, and most of my LS can attest. We've been here since we had to call a RDM friend from the LS to come raise us. I just think it's rude when you don't ask us if we'd like raises. When we finally got raised (about a half an hour into my death-clock) you were in San d'Oria.
 
So, he's the rude one for not offering to raise you? He was busy. Did you ask him for a raise? Or did you just start complaining about him not offering to help you? Also, when fighting an NM, did it not occur to you to put reraise up? Honestly now. You just look like an ass.

Then again I'm the type that will generally cure someone and haste them if they outclaim me.. good sportsmanship and the like.. depends on who/mood too.. Alyada is one of the coolest people I've met.. and besides, common courtesy is to at least raise.

Just like to point out that every job has access to reraise since it is totally subable at 66 and as much as it might be good sportsmanship to raise, it is bad sportsmanship to get mad at someone for not.

"I forgot" is never a good excuse, but the only reason people are assuming it was even an option is because of the sub listed under her name. I would have just left it as a mental note. No one has to sacrifice their xp/hour just because you decided to camp something. What would you have done had he never been there? It sounds like he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I really don't feel the need to defend myself in this thread as it wasn't what I did do, it's what I didn't do, but I'm going to play the devil advocate and argue my side anyway. Alyda thinks it is my responsibility to raise her and her friend because she gave me a "Good luck" in /tell while camping Sewer Syrup. Funny, I don't remember a "Please raise me" /tell or anything else. I was kiting that piece of crap NM for well over 30 minutes, the only pets that were available at the time did 8 damage per a hit, in the mean time I have a party of level 63 and below that is dying on the way to try and meet me. Though I didn't time my clock by it, I'de say we didn't kill it til around 45 minutes after I claimed. What Alyada fails to mention miserabley, A) she had a WHM sub on and had full access to RR which he/she apparently neglected to use, B) I was at this camp clearing mousse's for 40 minutes prior to her/him showing up and CCing me, and finally C) I'm not the one that rushed to claim the nm while I was midfight with a Mousse just so the BST that had been there for 40 doesn't get a shot at it. That and do you even realize how many R1's I've casted in my day just to get refused because people have a WHM 45 minutes away that can R3?

What you fail to realize is I could have very very easily been a much bigger dick and just claimed the NM while you were fighting 2 and let you guys die. No, what you were expecting was for me to take the link off of you by charming it, help cure you and your PLD as you fought syrup. Then if you did wipe, to raise both of you while keeping agro away and then letting you reclaim Sewer Syrup after you were weakened and let you guys beat them. I'm sorry, but you seem to think I owe you that kind of treatment. The fact is, you got the claim, kudos to you on that, but you also did it totally unprepared and that is not my fault.

In the end, everything worked itself out, you got your raise, my friend got his ring and I sincerly hope your friend gets his.

I've never committed any crime against you Alyada, I don't understand why you have to get on this board and demean me when you can simply do it to my face in game if you want to. And as I mentioned early, if you do still need help with that NM, I will help, despite this unpleasantry
 
What I would like to know is when did casting Raise on a fallen adventurer become mandated? Raising someone is a courtesy, not an obligation. If someone chooses not to cast Raise on you, that's your problem not theirs. For you to expect a BST to stop whatever they are doing and Raise you just because they have the ability to do so is very selfish. What you should have done is made a mental note and if you ever saw Fonz taking a dirt nap, you would have the privelege of making a choice, the same privelege that he used.
 
Fonz, you rock. and that story about what those others did, that is the funniest shit i have ever read. lol!

and my quick note to them: My little 30 BST carries a reraise earring which is level 24. Otherwise you can buy a cheap reraise scroll from any Ducal Guard. {Do you need any help?}

It's because someone is a bit pissy at seeing the NM they were camping get beaten by someone else. I mean hey it happens to all of us, some mobs are camped for hours on end(Ulli is a good example) only to see another player claim it before your eyes and this is also very frustrating. But hey, how many other people do you see flaming the others over lost claims?

Fonzy didn't do anything wrong here in fact the same thing would have happened with anyone else who was there, not just him. And for thefonz to say he is willing to help you get it again for you, and forget this whole thing. He has outdone himself and proven what a nice person he really is. Fonzy has personally helped me on a few things I have wanted to do recently and I have only really know the guy for a few weeks, I can't thank him enough. He doesn't have to do it, but it's just the kind of guy he is and I have much respect for him.

This is a very weak flame and is just purely made out of frustration.

Yes, every job does have access to Reraise. Reraise Earring, Reraise Gorget, Reraise Hairpin, etc. If you don't have access to the spell and there's a good chance you're going to die, you use one of these items or take a WHM with you. Anyone who's ever been to Dynamis knows this.
