There needs to be an age limit as to who can play FFXI

Fucking pieces of trash like Dahotness that sit around telling you how you got owned after a party wipe out (because MT pulled a mob while I was pulling.... yeah wrap your head around that one) need to take a test to get into a game where they have to interact with people.

What a fucking clown he is. I'm just disgusted right now. Tank fucking pulls.. WTF is that!? Then our SMN/WHM (not so good down here with exo's) bails on us like a bitch without saying so much as a peep. Been a great fucking PT so far.

chippie is a cool kid and a good player if young... asiamise is a good player and is chippies mom, age has nothing to do with this... it's the "Dumb Factor" that really needs to be banned

What's age have to do with it though? Idiots are universal, 5 y ear olds, 25 year olds, 50 year olds. You'll find idiots throughout the ages. I'm sure there's a couple crotchety old 95 year old idiots out there, wacking people with canes and whatnot.

And as for tank pulling, meh, if you don't have to set up SATA it gives the tank just a wee bit more hate. I had to do it a lot when I was WAR/MNK (yes I tanked, I don't wanna hear shit) mostly cause I was the only one who could sucessfully pull without aggroing 90 other things, god people suck sometimes.

There is, people just don't care. Hard to enforce. They assume since you need to be 18+ for credit card that would take care of the problem.. poor S-E.
 
There is a limit in surely wirting i think it is 14, but that is solely for content related reasons. I pay for the game via Debit Card and I was 16 when i started playing. Even if you don't pay for it obvioiusly your parents can. I think age limits are bull shit quite frankly, there are general areas where people become mature, but its completely subjective.
 
There are exceptions to everything. Kids are kids. Sorry. Even if a few know manners, a vast majority will not and do not. I sure some of you younger players remember middle school, I don't know about you but I don' t recall much maturity.

People older than me, on a daily basis, tell me to "stop being so serious". I dunno, I see idiocy and immaturity everywhere, not just in people younger than me...
 
i supposed what he REALLY means is mental age.
 
It's not the fact they they are so young, it's the fact that happens to be the general case at that age group. The old get problems like heart problems and stuff more often then those who are younger. Of course they happens enough to even the young, but is much more common in the old.

And about maturity issues with older people... chances are they started somewhere. And I bet they just never grew up, I know must of you heard that expression before. "Oh, grow up!" Guess not everyone is blessed with maturity, hower being imature starts at a young age. Just think about the words themselves, "mature". As in fully grown. inmature would mean not fully grown.. thus not an adult... which means you are childish/a kid. :roll:
 
I know Dahotness. Not very good at what he does. He usually has decent gear and stuff, but his ability is what I would call ... lacking. The same thing happened to my party. We were downstairs in Garlaige Citadel, and our puller was pulling. Ya know, like he is supposed to be doing. Well Dahotness decides he wants to pull without warning anyone, and our puller comes back with Funnel Bats and Dahotness comes back with a Beetle. I immediately go for the bats and leave Dahotness to fight the beetle on his own. He gets killed while running around as we kill the bats. Our BLM tried sleeping the Beetle, but Dahotness kept hitting it, unsleeping it. Ultimately, we got out alive, even though the beetle aggroed on to us after he died. We all started pulling out all the abilities we had. Was quite fun actually lol
 
hey hey, stick to topic a bit, if we gonna go into flaming dahotness i got my own stories to tell but that deserves it's own topic and i'll go tell him about it before we start flaming him, he deserves a shot at self defence.
 
I do sort of agree w/ an age restriction...I mean we are in a social situation, you know? I wouldn't really go and hang out with most 13 year olds...I am NOT saying they are bad players, or that all of them are immature - BUT I cannot tell you how many times I have been followed around (in game) by guys who won't leave me alone because I am a girl - and 80% of them that tell me their age are below 15. >< I stopped telling people my sex when asked long ago because of it - and you know, I shouldn't have to lie about it, but I definitely do sometimes....

This is why we count to ten and breathe before posting. Even on the flameboard. Yeah, he was being childish, but you made it sound like he was only an idiot because he was a kid (Which he's obviously not).

I needed a place to vent, not flame. I didn't (and still don't) care if anyone read or responded to this. At the time posting here was better then yelling at him while my whole PT was sitting there weakened. Possibility of MPK in my mind was impossible.

The name, the horrible abuse of the english language. It all screamed "middle school student".

My now mule use to be my roommates actual character. I got her interested in the game after she saw me in the dunes lvling my SJ. She quit after lvl 14 because of some many boys constantly hitting on her or making sexual advances.

So I get what your saying Jen, some people can be pure, channeled, shit.
