I'm 100+2 Cooking but I'm looking for something that is more money in 1 or 2 sales then money over time with food. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of maybe Smithing. Not sure yet.

I have to do so much research first.

Edit: Forgot, I'm also 60 fishing... lol.

Synergy man. That is the biggest money maker now. You can get so rich so quickly and you don't break shit when you fail a synthesis.

Okay... Synergy it is. That's what some others were saying too. Apparently SE slapped a lot of professions with the level limit raise and augments so not a lot of crafted gear is that great anymore.

Sadly that's true. Tho with me, I've been planning on doing woodworking on a mule too (I'm also 100 cooking) and finishing off fishing and synergy on my main.

Sadly a lot of consumable prices have gone way up because not many people are making them, tho making money with said mule is a side thing b/c I'm really doing it to fix my lu shang's without having to bug someone who does woodworking.

If you take up Synergy, Cua, let me know and I can make you Fewell at a nice discount. I'm a Alchemist so I can make that shit with ease.

Synergy might be really profitable but it's been annoying as hell every time my friend asks me to help him with one of his synths. It's all random button pushing and explosions.

I wish I saw this 10 minutes ago where I just bought about 300k worth of Earth Fewell to powerlevel my craft, lol. It's cool though, thank you.

Although there is something I need help understanding. The issue with making money in synergizing it seems is that other people are involved. I've been going through the lists of items that are worth selling on the auction house and they all need a high level smither, clothcrafter, etc.. If I have mats and am only doing this for income, is there some sort of social method to tip others to use their craft? Is there linkshells for this?

I can't make the good stuff alone as a 100 cook.

True. Get to know a few crafters. All they have to do is be in party. I haven't heard of tipping but ask a few friends. Maybe you can figure out something?

As for leveling it; you can actually make juice in that thing (which is why my brother called synergy at first "A bad way to make orange juice") so you might want to use that to your advantage to skill up. I'd say try to do yag drinks in there. That will take you to 29. (Check wiki for the ele balence and stuff.)

Oh and I can also do fewell if you catch me; don't laugh. I leveled alch up to 55 partly because I don't like ragging my alch friends for oil/powder and for a _really odd_ GP turnin that was later removed. (Snoll gelato, actually.)

It's cool. I decided I'm just going to drill it out and level my fishing from 60 to 81 so I can start catch black sole to craft sushi into. I'm going to grow my rice too on a few mules I'm making tomorrow.

Ya know, that's what I'm planning on doing; been working on finishing the lu shang's quest (I may start buying a lot of moat carp when I don't have time to fish) and getting woodworking done on Skif. As I hinted; I REALLY don't want to bug Demandred or Miyasha when my rod breaks! (Those are the two I know that either have high woodworking or have access to a woodworking mule)

From my experience, rods break at the absolute WORST time, usually when the person you know that can fix it is busy. And yes lu's break. I swear sometimes, the game knows.

I just bought one instead. Broke my bank though. I got one 100k off, I was lucky.

Now I have to noble lady it up on the ferry.
