Hey guys..Maybe you can help me decide on something. I have put a lot of thought into it, but I think I may want to get an 8-bit tat to show my love of retro video gaming. The character I had in mind was the 8-bit Megaman sprite from the NES series.

Now, which sprite should I use?

On the last one, if I decided to use it I would add a pellet into it.

Please keep negative comments to yourself thanks! :)

If I was picking from these choices, I'd get the top one. Non-action is more authoritative than the middle ("What's he jumping from?") or the bottom ("What's he shooting at?")

Lucki wins for using Megaman X

i was thinking X also but SNES isnt what i define retro plus i like the original series with Wiley better

I just Googled the image. Could be pretty cool.

QFT ... well at least if we're talking about MMX 1-3. From there things started getting a little choppy. Anything after 6 was just meh.

That's not to say that the megaman series wasn't (isn't?) awesome. I just enjoyed the [early] MMX series more.

I enjoyed 4 just because I could play though completely as Zero, but after that the series definitely took a huge down hill turn... the RPG was fun though.

I'm not saying I didn't enjoy 4-6, in fact I enjoyed them in part for that very reason. Just sayin' I enjoyed 1-3 the most. I never played the RPG version. I really want them to go back to their roots like the megaman series did. I bought 9 and 10 and enjoyed them both.

Megaman X8 was pretty good.

For me all the X games were crap after 7. I fucking hate Axel as a character.

Mega Man X 1-4 are the best MMX games in my opinion. I loved the addition of anime cutscenes in 4, even if they were fairly horribly dubbed. They still added a lot to the story and backstory to both Zero and X. I got 5 and played it for a little bit until I was finally too fed up with the crappiness of the game to continue and never bothered to play another MMX game until the RPG game out. The RPG is actually pretty fun considering the world it's in. But it is also so extremely basic in design which helps the simplicity of the game but hurts it in the long run for not really being all that special.

7 was horrible, but you could play through 8 without ever interacting with Axel. That and it's just a solid game.

I say get Mega tatoot'd in multiple places all over your body in a different pose and color each of them differently according to the weapons he used in the first game.

You should tattoo an entire MegaMan level on your back. Complete with baddies and bosses.

Consider getting tattoos of your favorite Megaman bosses on body parts where they'd be fitting/funny.

Each boss fight layed out like a layered cake ! ooh colourful =)
