OMG I just canceled my account Monday and I am thinking about coming back. This thread helped me immensely. ;)

In regards to the econmy does this mean that a stack of utsumi tools is no longer 12k a stack and hauby is no longer 5 mil.

Shihei is about 4.5k a stack right now, and Haubys are hovering around 185k.
 
On a more interesting note did they every find a sure fire way to beat AV?
 
It turns out that SE intended AV to be an 18 hour fight as well...
 
Am I only one who thought that SE AV video was no help at all.

No. Everyone eventually believed it's next to no help.

Infact that should go in the list of notes....

"Absolute Virtue still remains undefeatable and all previous "methods" of defeating have been patched up. Previous methods include locking his abilities (somehow) and the wall thing.

Square Enix released a hint video on how to defeat Absolute Virtue. However, after many many many tests done by people throughout various servers no one was able to reproduced the results shown in the video. To conclude, no one has figured out the true hint in the video although there are apparently some. The fight continues..."

Go to your chat filters to "Tell" message and click around on the option. You'll get "Off" "Hold" "On" and a musical note icon (♪) is toggled, indicating that you want a sound/chime when you recieve a /tell.

The chime isn't very loud, so if you AFK you'll need to blast up your volume to have a possbility of hearing it.

I don't think I'll be running into Pandemonium Warden or Absolute Virtue anytime soon...
 
Personally I love the idea of a 18 fight I mean how long does it take a rdm/nin to solo genbu?

Unless you have a huge LS that works in shifts, how do you expect to last all 18 hours? Eating or pissing could mean death. Plus you need to be free of any other activities.

o_O; soloing genbu takes around 3 hours at most on RDM/NIN but you must be extremely hardcore to think spending 18+ hours straight looking at a screen playing a game is cool..............:ohmy:
