General Thinking of Return

Hey all,

I am not sure if anyone remember me, but I used to play a long long time ago. I left the game during Aht Urgan Expansion when the level cap was still level 75.

I am thinking of returning as I have some more free time than I am used to, and I have always thought of the good times I had when I played this game in the past.

What I really want to know is, does anyone have experience returning to the game in its current stat from level 75?
Am I going to be overwhelmed and lost with the game? I know a lot has changed.

How is End Game content now? Do you still need an Alliance to tackle the harder HNMs?

Do people still XP from 75 to 99? Will it be tough to find a party?

I appreciate any feedback you have, and I hope to see you soon in game

Thankfully, someone on BGwiki has been making at least a token effort at maintaining this page, so it's not entirely out of date.

Some of the advice is rather out of date (Abyssea gear is currently pretty optional, for example), though it will still be the easiest place to get an exp party from 75-99.
