Children you fuckin assholes.
I choked up when i seen that cause i imagined if that was my daughter.

War causes a lot of horrible things to happen on both sides, you can't say that America should somehow be accountable for the collateral damage of a good cause. I'm not saying that image isn't tragic, but it's really focusing in on the darker side of things.

I'm sure every one of those insurgents would love to get their hands on an American child and do 10x worse things to them, and not only that, but video tape it and send it to their parents. Hell, what if it was "take your kid to work" day at the World Trade Center on 9/11? Do you think that would've stopped them or encouraged them? I doubt they would've cared either way.

Now this article is one of the worst examples of military intelligence lately, so I really won't aggree with the actions, but I do place the weight of the blame on the people who spread that info. I wouldn't be shocked if the result was the intent of Iraqi insurgents who wanted to make America look like monsters in the global media. We really do need to stop the shoot first, frag them, then maybe ask questions before kicking in the next door.

Don't take this as trivializing the death of that poor child, but you shouldn't get outraged because a news company saught out the worst possible thing to take a picture of, when you NEVER see the progressive images that keeps a lot of American troops over there making a difference. And I know many soldiers who have come back saying that they got thanked on a daily basis for the work that they were doing. That may not be the case in the whole country, but it's a large enough portion that it warrents mention, and yet it is left out of almost every report.

Yes. The Haditha operation was tragic. But just to get into politics for one moment. The media aired this all over the world. Yet, there have been several Insurgent raids on Iraqi citizens and foreigners in Iraq, killing them. And there have been other tragedies too.

War creates so many serious situations, but it seems that the media tends to air the 'negative' events, instead of the 'progressive' steps. Just my view on it.

this will add more oil to the arabin hate to US ....
