Ok, I'm not one to post much in the flameboard but there is a new trend developing that pisses me off to no end...and I don't know why hehe
Bazaars. Now, I've been a bazaar checking WHORE pretty much since day one and even more so after I ended up bumping into not one, but TWO players quitting on the same day (nothing super expensive was sold but how could I pass up a Great Bow +1 for 10 gil, among other things^^), but I find more and more that people are only using their Bazaar to show off their fucking gear.
I guess you could say that this issue is related to the various "elite vs gimp" gear threads. I don't know how other people think, but how I see it is that I simply don't give a fuck what uber shit you have -- if I see that litlle draw-string bag beside your name, it would be nice to think that you are actually SELLING something! Now I'm aware that desplaying certain quest items in your bazaar is a handy way of letting others know you have them, but other than that it's nothing more than childish "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! I HAVE WHAT YOU CAN'T HAVE!" mentality.
Anways, this is my view. I'm curious what others think...
