Let me tell you, people of Quetzalcoatl. It has come to my attention over the past several weeks, but climaxed at a recent CN PT.

XBOX players are OBVIOUSLY TOO GOOD for us. Please, for your own sake, don't raise yourself to PT with them. They are simply too good, gods among mere animated characters.

I overheard someone asking an XBOX player to please read the TP reports in /party. Hahahahahaha! Please, Xbox players > reading. Hell, Xbox > all.

If you happen to see one of these demigods, in say...Valkurm being chased by 7 gobs and a ram, or Garliage "accidentely" falling through the cracks to the lower floor to sudden "omgz! I lost control!", merely /kneel.

THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS WORLD EXCEPT XBOX. XBOX > ALL

I play on XBox 360 >=/ Then again, I've been playing on and off since release on PS2. I don't think I count, I guess I'd technically count as a PS2'er
 
What's happened anyway? I'd like to hear.
 
5 dunes partys, IN A ROW, were destroyed by 360 noobs. they were all different noobs. I've even had a LS kick me out because i would not party with a 360 noob that killed me twice. That should be enough to not invite them until they have proven themselves.
 
And now the PS2 players know what was so funny to the PC players when PS2 release came about.
 
Funny, I've had several LS mates tell me about people just like that, they were on 360 as best I can recall, most of them had grossly underlvled subs as well with the excuse "this is only gonna be my sub" thrown out many times. On a positive note, they were ejected from the parties and avoided like the plague when discovered XD

On a side note, I was wondering what happened to your party, lots of downtime from what I noticed at the end, sorry it turned out that way.

*spots another lizard* gimme your eggs!

Edit: btw, we should probably have some kind of watch list for these types specifically, might be something to keep an eye on these people until they get their act(s) together, at which point they could be removed and accepted as normal members of the FFXI community.

its even worse than the PS2 release. Now its a billion new players, with the added bonus of the "xbox live" mentality.
 
Oh yeah, no wonder dunes pts have been worse than usual lately. Before you often got high lvl ppl lvling lower jobs. Now I just get tons of subjobless noobs now ;x
 
I am sorta mad that the ffxi fee is negated if you have xbox live subsription its so much cheaper!

When i think of subjobless noobs i think of that lv39 rdm seeking without a subjob.....

painful to see one's job made look bad
 
Basically they don't have to pay the bill every month its negated since they pay the xbox live fee which is 50 bucks a year i believe

It was like that when they had it on beta and i bet it hasn't changed
 
Microsoft must be paying SE a bunch of money then, probably close to the $157.00 that SE makes from a normal player with no additional characters. If Microsoft was not paying SE that fee, then there would be no reason for SE to allow their game on the 360 since they would be losing a large amount of money.

xbox live is $2 a month

You still need to pay FFXI subscription, it just uses the free xbox live service(as well as the paid service.) You kinda had everything backwards. Xbox Live Bronze or whatever they call it.

I only know one good and non-noobish new Xbox 360 player and new to FFXI game. He's a friend of mine, yet he came from playing EQ for a few years. Other than that, I've been lvlling some low jobs sometimes, and have seen a lot of the noobish epidemic going around...
 
Okay then i guess i can unwind then, sorry about the false info, i was going on what a rl friend of mine said about it when he was on beta
 
Know what's awesome? I just threw away my second Magicked Skull today, shouted in the center of zone three times for both, no one took em. ANd there's...5 people non-anon, L18+ in dunes, with no subjob.
Saaaaaad...
