Not really sure how many of my old friends that still visit this site, but here goes...
I've got alot of reasons, as to why I'm not playing anymore.
(This is a fraction...)
FFXI is getting old, I mean, it's really all about repeating stuff, with rewards that does'nt matter anymore... I've grown tired of the "gear-need-without-reason", it's killing the game for me...
What I mean is, everybody can do everything, more or less, with rewards that does'nt help you, or put you up against the "next 'tier' of events/monsters".
I have around 500 days of playtime behind me, and alot of that is with Integ, wich imo is the leading ls on this server. But the game is locked up in some sort of strangle-hold it can't get out of, thanks to the Zilart-expansion... Zilart offered alot of new cool stuff, with some great money-drops as a side dish. Thanks to that, the game locked itself, forcing us to accept the ffxi-limits... Since Zilart, there has been two expansions, with rewards that are slightly better then previous rewards... Aquarian vs Morrig, Dryadic vs Usukane, etc etc... Yeah sure it's better stuff, no argue, but why? Why do you need the new gear? You allready had the old stuff to be able to get the newer stuff... And the new stuff does'nt get you anywhere... Bla, bla, bla ,bla blaaa.........
Well "OK", you look different, but that's it...
I play with alot of people that are really good, but without any obstacles...
Nothing is tough enough, even if we're short-handed... And so it has been, for a long, long, long time...
I'm not going to delete, or sell, my char. Not yet, I'm still praying that SE will realize that there is a tiny group of people that really enjoys a big challange without bitching and whining...
To the ones in my FL + Integ, and to some of qcdn, Peace & Love, I might return. (I pray I will.)
