I soloed 2-5 tonight, as a PUP, and got the record. XD It's nice for a casual/solo player like me to be able to get somewhere in CoP now though, and to give myself a challenge, I'm going to solo until I can't solo anymore. :D
 
Go for it! CoP deserves to get it's *** kicked now. For all the pain it's cause me alone, go solo till you can't solo no more! :D
 
Naw man, I'm rooting for you! I'm in the same boat. I have a family and work, sorta new house (2 years). I can't be on 24-7 like my LS mates. These guys are ALWAYS on and bragging about the stuff they did. I'm happy for them but happier for people like us who rely on LUCK and soloing to get ANYTHING done in this game.

I'm hoping this breathes one hell of a new life into this game for me. Just dinged 76sam and it was strange. It was 1am so I had to go to bed; naughty me. I'll be up tonight on 75bst looking to blast the crap out of COP.
 
Holy crap dude. I wanted to duo this with my wife this weekend (since we're both in "casual" now, due to work and school and...ugh....life).
This is awesome news... Promathia... Here we come!
 
Some missions I might have been ... a little disappointed about, but this one in particular was an absolute bitch, so I'm happy. Now go kill snoll ztar (sp). Those two were the worst.
 
I'm hopefully gonna get 6-4 done fairly soon. I have all the equipment I need ready for use.
 
I hope I can get through valtz soon. I'm tried of being stuck XD
 
I want to go with someone to their snoll fight just so I can beat the ever-loving snot out of it in revenge.
 
Walking through promies without agroing... weird.

They did add some high level mobs in here though, they're munching on my dead body now.
 
i'm on 4-2 gonna be trying this crap as Sam/dnc w00t! we're two manning/soloing as much as we can w/ a fren of mine XD

Futher back on the final floor, I ran into some ITs trying to do my map quest in there. Don't get comfortable on the final floor with the too weak to be worthwhile.
 
The higher level mobs in the promyvions are easily recognizable as they have different names from the regular mobs that all con too weak at 75.

As for level, not sure but there aren't enough in most promyvions to actively exp on.
Especially considering the 15 min repop.
 
haha! this is awesome. Solo'd sacrarium (sorta). People were opening the gate so much I didn't need keys. duo'd promy Vahzl; couldv'e solod but was nice to have company. Then crashed for bed time. I'm going in again tonight for more. Goooooo sea access finally right?
 
My wife and I will be doing the Promys this weekend if anyone was interested in joining up. Probably Sat. night EST.
 
I think you'd be pretty safe soloing up until about 6-4, and then could solo again til 7-5. I just ran through all missions from 4-2 to 8-4 in the last couple nights.... not really hard, just time consuming and a lot of running around. Only time we all died was once on the Pot BCNM on 8-3, but thats kind of a given. Just RR'd and won, and we were doing it with 5. Actually, soloing any of the 8-1+ missions would be tough. Don't need a full pt, but the 3 Ru'Aerns popped 3 times for 8-1 would be tough alone, and walking the npc guys through Hu'Xzoi would be a bitch alone. You'd need to be very lucky lol. All in all though it was just time consuming, but pretty fun. Gonna go grab my Rajas now, picked up a brutal yesterday.
 
I'm now up to 7-4. Coincidently, tried soloing 6-4 just for giggles, almost took down 1 Mammet, so I think, with the right job and setup, soloing that mission might be possible.

Anyways, hopefully I'll have this done soonish and then get started on Bahamut and Apocalypse Nigh.
 
Just to see how easy they've become I'd join up.

But getting level 80 and a capped buffer is priority atm.

oddly enough i kinda wish I could go through it and fight all the nms battlemage style

its funny because I do have a battlemage set and when i took 3 years leveling rdm to 75, its one my favorite things to do^^

still i rushed CoP getting done in under a month and from pulling a helluva lot of favors and I still enjoy my rajas ring; if you want help on something lemme know

...if i can battlemage it
