I've said it before and I'll say it again: GTFO. The "FFXI Community" you love so much doesn't want you back. It's compareable to walking into Yankee stadium yelling about how big of losers they are for still liking the over priced babies, and how the Red Sox are the bestest team ever. If you don't like FFXI, shut up about it. I have yet to see a bad flame AGAINST WoW, and all I have seen is what I've been saying for weeks, if you don't like FFXI, leave, go away, leave it to the people who still enjoy it. When there are over 10 posts in the past 50 about WoW on a FFXI board, thats just messed up. Yes we choose to click these posts, because in general, they hafta do with someone whe know and like quitting for WoW or some other bs like that and we like to say goodbye. BUT the forum rules are being completely disregarded by both sides and turning this from an Off Topic post into a Flameboard post. And none of the mods are around to do shit about it. Pupusa is never around to monitor this stuff and the only people I've seen ACTUALLY move something are Sabia and Jender.

I was not trying to "speak for an entire community" but rather the side of the community that has respect for people who play FFXI and don't care to hear about WoW on a message board having nothing to do with WoW. So before you go all pissy, grow up a bit, find a WoW forum, and POST THERE. Its funny, a lot of people like me dont and never did play FFXI for the game itself. All in all this game is a POS, a huge Time-sink, and a waste of memory space.

You know why I and several others play or have come back to playing?

The community.

When I left for WoW originally, all i heard was 'oh keep posting, we will miss you, dont be a stranger' now suddenly its "GTFO no srsly GTFO" i mean what the hell.

This is true, FFXI graphics are better, but one would be surprised at WoW graphics. Some people have posted that WoW graphics are horrendous, but they really should experience the game for themselves, rather than basing their opinions on screenshots, movies, etc.
As a matter of fact, I've seen more eye candy in WoW than FFXI. Overall, FFXI wins.

I like spell effects more in WoW too. Magic and projectiles actually travel from the caster/shooter to the enemy, and interacts with the enemy, rather than just have some graphical overlay appear on top of the enemy from nowhere.

I agree to the fullest. However, when you get high 50's the class set armor matches which is an awsome change -_-;.

Agreed...please consider a more advanced N.A. server as for they are more mature and in the long run (endgame) it will pay off. Like Davio said this server sucks. I would suggest Valefore or Bahamut to name a few.

But if you are teenager and like acting gay, talking shit, and getting your face owned by the JP, and gil-sellers galore this server is for you!

Very true, what can I say this server sucks compaired, imo, and many others I have spoken with here share the same feelings. Better to let them know up front than the let them find out after they've worked. Simply put I have friends, A LOT of them, in the "community" and I like to hand around here.

Seriously, I have nothing against WoW. I have never tried it, and probably never will. I like the crowd I roll with in FFXI, and thats the reason I play. Hell, WoW might be a better game, but from what I have heard, it isn't a better experiance.

I Just got my PLD AF body, and the story intertwined made it all worth it.

What I'm saying is that the board has a place for questions/comments about WoW. It's the off topic section. It's just like the dumb dumbs(trying to keep in non-flame worth) who post massive avatars and sigs. Read the rules and respect them.
Keep QCDN worth comming to.

So in turn its ok too turn it into a flame? Its the admin. job too move threads. I dunno but I read somewhere that flames are too be kept in the flameboards. Lately I think people been getting carried away and flameing outside those boards. I think some banning needs too start going on here but thats just me.
