Those who play WoW please look^^

Hmm, my last post wasn't very well-thought. Oh well.

I wish I could have kept my cool like you, Braydon. Me and Strid's argument can go on forever w/o anyone accepting to be wrong. Can't fight fire with fire. So here's my bit of water:

I have much respect for your debating skill, Strid. But there are better stuff to argue over than this. So let's move on.

Some folks here are trying to throw us WoW players under saying we started this flame and all the other FFXI vs. WoW flames when actually no WoW person flamed FFXI here or anywhere that I've noticed. We simply stated our opinions and asked for knowledge to be given an uninformed (firsthand)and usless insult from FFXI players. Not just here either.

Seriously, I have nothing against WoW. I have never tried it, and probably never will. I like the crowd I roll with in FFXI, and thats the reason I play. Hell, WoW might be a better game, but from what I have heard, it isn't a better experiance.

If you didn't have anything against WoW you wouldn't have said what I bolded in your opening paragraph. For someone who has never played WoW and has nothing against it you sure have some nice opinions of things you have no clue about. The word "heard" is bugging me but I got nothing nice to say about that comment.

I Just got my PLD AF body, and the story intertwined made it all worth it.

This has been said many of times in this thread. As stated before if this would have been the extent of the harcore FFXI players responces there would not be a single flame on here but no, it that wasn't enough for them.

Another thing on that bolded comment..I've already cut it in FFXI as have many others. I've done the current end game and most everything there is to do. I have almost the best gear possible and have played basically non stop for 1.5 years. A year and a half eating, breathing, living FFXI. I've pasted cutting it. I'm tired of it and ready to move on and so are others.

I agree as I've tried to let this go so many times but someone new comes up everytime slinging disses out of nowhere reasonable. >.>

I put the line in bold as a little dig. Most of the people who post here have nothing to prove. All I'm saying is that this does belong in off topic. My first post might seem flame-ish, which I appologize for.

And DodgeRoadRage, you realize you just flamed me for flaming someone in a non-flaming forum. If I get banned, I'll save a seat right for ya.

But all this bullshit flaming has accomplished is turn a thread asking for some input from FFXI players on WoW into a drawn out bitchfest that never needed to occur.

so un-knot you manties and stop reading the WoW threads that have been popping up latey if it makes you kids so hot under the collar.

^^; I remember getting my AF the first time around. It was a very very special deal... it really is a joyful feeling to get any piece.

Wow, irony covers this thread like a wet blanket.

People are flaming me for flaming someone outside the flame board...
I stopped and appologized. Seawolf calmed down. I'm so chilled I'm on the rocks baby.

EDIT: And btw- I think this does need to occur. Far too often, people are posting where they shouldn't. People need to start smacking people around for this, or qcdn will decend into anarchy

I Know I posted this in the wrong section, I apologized 2 days ago for this, Its my first forum mistake chill alittle. I'm still a regular FFxi player, Just wanted to change up my after work day alittle. In a whole the questzy community is great and ill never leave, sure thiers a few roten apples but I'm not gonna let that ruin my day.


The intention of creating this thread was to get a non biased opinion from people who play both and I got a few. This was never a debate or a flame from when I originaly started this nor was it designed to.

To all those who helped me in this thread or via p.m I thank you. I;m having a great time in the new community

In my eyes both games are equaly great, where one lacks the other makes up for it so i will remain playing both

Now I know I cant realy do this but consider this thread

HOW STUPID!

I'm so sorry that I couldn't make it in FFXI like you did. I have had many RL conflicts, and I just don't have the time to invest into FFXI like I used to. I was prepared to farm, then craft, and get some good armor.....but I just don't have the time, even during the summer.

I love FFXI. Actually, FFXI was the best game I have ever played. I'm serious, I've never played a better game. Time was just against me. So again, I apologize that I had to sacrafice FFXI to make some RL commitments. I didn't leave because of the community (I loved our server), I didn't leave because of drama, I left because I had no other choice.

WoW gives me the opportunity to hop in for an hour or so, get something done, and leave. In FFXI, that's not possible. No matter how depressed I am that my character is going to be deleted, I cannot invest enough time into it in order to perform the best I can. I'm SO SORRY :roll:

On another note, I would like to apologize for posting about WoW in General Discussion. I was wrong, and I am sorry for disrespecting the rules (With sincerity this time). I also apologize to Mastershake for posting after he requested this thread locked. I had to get this off my chest, or I would go crazy.

Oh yeah....... Sky, Silk Thread, Jeuno, Goblin Gambler, Dark Staff, and gilsellers. There, I talked about FFXI. :evil:

Glad you like both games. I play WoW too but I am only level 7 in that game and still don't know much so I really could not answer your questions. I feel the same way that one makes up for the other.

Sorry about your thread man. I do that myself too, lol. I posted for help one time under Missions and Guides link. Its easy too do. Good luck man in both games.

I might quit FFXI soon, and play either.

Guild wars( an MMORPG that dosnt destroy your RL)
Star Wars Galaxies(Got RL friends playing it)
WoW(Got real life friends playing it)

Yea the stereo typical B-net player is my only real complaint about the game, that and crafting is a joke.
