marginally better than leveling thf to 15 because i can roll dice and cards spin around and i go oo lala for 2 seconds.

Ok, a somewhat more serious thought on Corsair . . . how much of an exp increase is the Corsair's Roll ability? The press on the gambling of the die rolls leads me to believe that it will be a percentage that changes (prolly up to 10%?) based on how well you roll. Also, it seems likely that a bust will give the COR herself an exp penalty for the duration. Thoughts?

From my experience with it last night (took it to 8 ), I was getting anywhere between 1-15% on rolls. 1% being a 9 (unlucky number) and 15% being an 11.

If you do bust, you do get -% experience, but it's only about 1-2%.

I was leveling COR last night, and I went to buy a gun and when I went to the AH, I saw we don't get any ranged weapon til 15. (Holy Run-On Batman) Is this right? Everything we've seen with COR has had a gun in it, but we have to get our first 15 lvls w/o it?

Stuff dont magically appear on AH just because they are implemented in the game.
People have to make/find then and put them on AH in the town you are shopping.

i'm going back to leveling it now, and i'll hopefully be in the dunes level. it looks like this job is going to be somewhat expensive.

Seems really interesting... kinda slow with the stuff from the 1st few lvs, but I'm sure if kept with, it will turn out very usefull and interesting

I'm in a static with a buddy of mine, and we're going to lv BLU/WHM(until 20, then subbing NIN for dual wield) and COR/WAR (until 20, then he's going to sub RNG or NIN depending on the situation) together, see how they work^^ should be fucking kick ass :D!

Just got Corsair to level 10 so haven't tried it in party situation yet. HEre's what I gathered on the roll, there are 2 options I figured could be valid:

1) There is a lucky and unlucky number, like stated before, where the first one gives you better bonus then the second one.

2) Blackjack type. The more rolls you get without busting, the better the bonus will be.

I tried to check exp bonus on EM mob that originally give 100 exp. With no double-up I was getting 105, 1 DU would give me 110 and 2 would give me 115. This leads me to believe each roll adds 5% to the stat/exp it affects. The more rolls you get in without busting, the better the bonus.

I may be wrong, still a bit early to be sure of anything, but that kinda makes sense.

HAs anyone figured out what the elemental cards are for yet?

Veresko, Keep track of your actual number total, not number of rolls. I'm pretty sure that a 2 followed by another 2 would give exactly the same bonus as a 4.
