I realize that we get new people coming onto the boards occasionally, but I'd like to give you a bit of advice:

If a thread has more than 2 weeks since it's last post date, there's NO REASON to add another post.

Chances are, the reason there are now new posts is because everything that can be said, has been. If you have some startling, ground-breaking revelation to make on the original topic, go ahead and make a new thread. But I don't need to be reading arguments that took place a year ago between people who don't even play on the server anymore, OK?

I garantee you in 5 months this thread will be on top again, and not because it was stickied

I'll be damned if I am not the one to do it.

I revive posts all the time and I quit the game a year ago ^^ Just good to look back on what happened back in the day of Daroth the all mighty cheese burger.

I hate it when people do this

I declare this will be the new QCDN ritual! The bumping of this topic will happen every two weeks! *waves his lance around all fancy like* THIS IS CNN!

/random.

but umm, what about those people who want to post something but its already been posted? What are they supose to do? Bumpin the thread is the best option for them.

I'm just curious why people are going back so far. Even if they're new, who cares what was said 6 months ago? More to the point, what meaningful information could you possibly have to offer that was missing from the thread?

One example is Arathorn, who brought up that "Do you hate unoriginal names" thread just to say FU to someone. The previous post was in AUGUST and he responded to it in march.

Another is Oneil, who brought back the "RDM BS" thread, just to say he doesn't care what rdm's do as long as they do what they neeed for. This thread was over in early September before Oneil brought it back.

There's no point to responding in a thread that old. If you really want to say something (and actually have something to say) just make a new thread about it. People can post links to the old thread if they want to or if it even matters.

er, neeed = needed. A spell check would be nice, since we can't edit these.

I'd just say one thing though...

WHY WOULD YOU CARE?!

If someone revives a dead thread, let them, just don't open it, don't read it, just let it die again.

(Lol, sorry, I just feel that this is a one sided topic, and needed to add something to spice it up)

www.spellcheck.net

I run my posts through it whenever they're long enough to matter. ^_^;;

/agree

I see it is time for this to pop back up....

.....Leave the Colbwa threads alone!
