Tibeten protest turns violent in Lhasa

I still think its funny how they'd even consider holding the olympics in a city with probably the worst air pollution in the world. "Hey lets go run a 20 mile marathon and then breath in terrible polluted air! Sounds like a fucking riot!"

Sorry for the derail, but just wanted to throw that out there.

Top 20 polluted cities world wide

China... has 16 out of the 20 top cities for pollution. Can we blame china for this? yes. However, the blame did not originate from china. Countries like the US, England, Germany, France, etc etc... Not only purchase products from there and have it made... But old plants (steel, power, coal) that would be economically unhealthy in todays standards... were sold by these countries to china... They were deconstructed and rebuilt in china... :omg: this is almost as bad as Bush deconstructing our rights to knowledge and shit, but thats another story.

For tibet... all you can do is hope, To my knowledge, Tibet is a very religuous country. One can pray D:
