Tilde/~ Part 2 [M]

Weak justification :P

OMG, what are y'all gonna think up next to bitch about? Gimme a break^^. (Neo that "^^" was just fer youuuuuuu. ahahhahahha)

Honestly I have no problem with the smiley faces, and I didn't start because it was the Japanese thing to do.

In fact, I ended up doing it because much like on AIM where ;) :( and >:) were prevelant and were fun ways to express yourself, so were ^_^, o_O and -.-.

I learned it all from American players thankyouverymuch. I didn't even know it was a JP thing until I spent some time in the Asylum at Alla and I heard people bitching about it.

Bitch all you want about how annoying the faces are (I'll never get that tilde thing, but meh), doesn't change the fact that I'm a damn good player and a nice person to be around.

The tilde is also used to represent "approximation" of a measure.

For instance, my signature records ~1,300 damage to the Sozu Rogberry.

I took 2.5 years of japanese classes in college, i know how to ask them to show me their panties. So SUE ME! I WANT TO SEE ASIAN PANTIES!

the only thing that really annoys me are the "orz" and "w" when they are constantly used to the point of retardation. Oh.. that and the people that have this grand notion that Japan is so superior to America just because of shit they saw in an Anime :| (yes I know some people like that). The only thing I can really see as truly superior in Japan is the way they run their business. Where, instead of the boss taking all the credit and any blame falls on people lower, they all share the blame and credit for whatever it might be. They actually listen to their workers and try to improve things. There's, I believe, a car factory in America that's run by the Japanese and is the most efficient and productive in the country.

Oh.. and don't get me wrong. It's wonderful people learn about other cultures and languages and such things. However, it's sad when people learn culture and languages from Anime and think that's how Japan is today. Cause.. well.. most Anime doesn't portray Japan at all as they are today. Seriously, my friend goes there every summer to visit his family. I've been there too to witness this. They have virtually taken MTV to the extreme. No joke about that. Svina.. wanna see asian panties.. you can see more than that cause the skirts those girls wear are so damn short they might as well not wear anything. Anyways, nothing wrong with learning about cultures and languages and even adapting them into your life but when you pretty much copy what they do completely to a more extreme then they do or learn the WRONG culture from a cartoon of theirs.. seriously.. wtf

Nein!

Another fine post from one of the self-appointed top rated taru's of Quetzalcoatl.

~Blabj (Go bitch devart too, 99.99% recurring of people on there are trend whores. Including me.) (Hence my use of sig whore signatures.)

I feel honored... and for the record, ~ is used in just one Spanish letter: "ñ"... unless if you want to count the "Ñ" as another letter...

Who the hell copyrighted emotes to the Japanese? I've seen them being used since like eight years ago.
And don't really care if you like my avatar or not. So nyeh.
And I think the point getting put across is "No one's probably object to an avatar of a girl giving herself a wedgie, but if it was a guy people'd be on it like noobs on the Twinkle Tree.

Oh sh-!t, second part was supposed to be in a different topic. INT-5

It's Brian Dennehy. The one and only Brian Dennehy. He once played John Wayne Gacy, who you really wouldn't want touching you at night.

I myself have a habvit of using ~ at the end of my sentances and I am sorry to anyone it annoys but it become so much of a habit to me that I don't even realise it.

To me however, it symbolises my tone of voice, which would be a nice one, just as how I tend to talk to my friends from day to day. I tend to raise the pitch of my sentance at the end.

My other reason is yes, I admit I love japanese things a lot. I think that is where I initially got it from as well as many of the smilies I perform. But it doesn't make me a bad person I don't think.

Again, I realise some of you hate ~ and a lot of japanese things or admirers. But then, many people hate so many things its not really worth going through. I just play and talk to my friends as I usually do. I just apologise to anyone now if I do use ~ at all at end of my sentances.

I for one, love japanese culture, language, history, people and way of life.
