Yet again, lol@reviews.

This game is pretty simple. You shoot at the screen. Stuff dies. This game is exactly what you expect it to be. They threw in a bonus mode where you can control your walking. It's well done but it's kind of uncomfortable, so I don't really enjoy it for too long.

This game is perfect at what it does however, in the on-rails shooter. The gun is terrific, the accuracy is dead on, and the game is fun. Ignore the stupid story, it's a damn arcade shooter. You either want it or you don't. Ignore the bad reviews about it, they are reviewing the genre itself, not the specific game. The game is great at what it does, but probably 90% of the people out there don't want that kind of game.

It's not Halo or Call or Duty. It's not trying to be on that level. There's no depth in gameplay, and you damn sure won't get interested in the story. If you expected any of that going in, you're an idiot. Rest assured however, if you understand what this game is, and you want that kind of game, it's a good pick up.

I sat there with it going in my handing saying "Ketchup.... Catsip.... Ketchup.... Catsip..." I couldn't decide. I'll probably pick it up after Rockband comes out in Canada.

$60? If so its another rediculous game at full price. I will play it when its $20. Or rent it.

Part of the price is buying the light gun.

I don't care for the gun's design, I don't like having to hold my offhand in front and to the side of my main hand; it's not comfortable at all. If they had made something like this I'd be all behind the gun. You wouldn't really use the left stick for time crisis 4, but for other games you might and it just wouldn't be comfortable.

Yes the side thing is uncomfortable. Fortunately, you don't use it for the real game, only the FPS bonus thing. The bonus game is a nice little bonus, but I'd rather use my Wii to be honest if I am going to play a FPS while shooting at the screen... although this is more accurate than the wii mote, using the nunchuck seems more comfortable.

I can pretty much say this game isn't for you Osyris. You have to be interested in the whole concept of turning your TV into an arcade with the gun shooting game, you can't really be comparing it on a value scale to other games. The only thing you can compare it to is Guitar Hero, a peripheral game that's in terms of content less than an ordinary game but for a specific gamer, a whole lot of fun and replay value.

If you're not into the concept, even at $20 you're going to feel like it's a waste of your money. If you are, the purchase is well worth it.

What annoys me, is people rating this game without understanding that. The game is a light-gun shooter. They need to rate it based on how good of one it is. And it's a great one.

The amount of money I've spent at arcades to play this game, makes me want to buy it. Which is probably why I will eventually. But like with Guitar Hero, although I have shit loads of fun, it's a lot more fun with another person(or persons), is there multiplayer available? Do you just need two guns if there is?

You'd need two guns, just like two controllers if there is multiplayer. I'm not sure if there would be, since with the time crisis series, they always gave you separate screens due to the branching paths. Is this a PS3 exclusive, or is it coming to other consoles as well? As much money as I throw into the light gun games, this would definitely be something I'd pick up if it's for a console I've got.

2 guns or a gun and a controller. I don't think the person on the controller will have all that much fun, but it beats doing nothing and it's actually workable. I might buy a 2nd gun depending on if I have a roommate next year, who that is and how much the gun costs. Too bad they didn't put in a 2 player game over PSN. That would be cool except for the fact nobody would be online ever, lol.

Nothing has been announced on any other consoles, but it's certainly possible it'll hit 360 at least in the future. No guarantees though.

Hopefully Namco will put Time Crisis 1-3 up on the PSN, that would be pretty cool.

Any news on selling just the guncon3? I've been looking for one for two player mode, but it just looks like it's not happening for a while.

The game is $90 >.> WTF.

Consider it comparable to Guitar Hero on a value scale. You're buying an arcade-style game and a peripheral needed to play it. Hence it's for a really specific market who are essentially paying to bring the arcade game into their living room.
