Well I've finally decided on changing my main job yet again. Previously I went from being a blm (quit at 24) to a rdm (origanally quit at 30) to be a smn (quit at 20) then to drk (some what quit at 31) just to go back to rdm and take it to 50. And so here I am bored with the job again, and I'm really likeing the thf job since I got it past 30 finally. Lol is seems like I'm always changing my job every few weeks lol I guess it just keeps my refreshed with the game and keep me playing it. I may go back to playing rdm eventually but not at the moment. So if anyone needs a thf lvl 31 in their party hit me up. :wink:

yeah rdm is fun but I'm tired of being in the back pretty much making sure enfeebs stick, everyone is refreshed, and sleep links. Gets kind of tire some and not to mention boring. I mean last night we were taking on Helm Beetles in the nest and i just had to put my sword down cause of the fact that I wasn't even doing 3 - 10 point damage anymore I was missing everytime. So I took a step back and just did my usual job minus the sword. And I was bored as hell with it, and was pretty much thinking of just leaving and go lvl thf and do some real damage. :twisted:
 
I like to have all the jobs leveled, so I can pick them up and play them whenever.

RDM will get a hell of a lot better with the addition of convert and refresh.
...Can sub NIN and do some real soloing. :D
 
I'm sure a lot of people switch around in jobs often too.

I'm sort of going on the verge of doing that...I feel like playing NIN again, even though I hate tanking ^^; It is just a really fun job, and cool too =P

THF is also a job I leveled up, my friends think I just did it for farming, but I did it because it is a fun job!
 
You're just like me Drecan. :lol: I started FFXI a year ago as a RDM, actually managed to reach lvl 10 with lvl 1 equipment and no gil due to my cluelessness about signet, the AH and the game in general. >_< Switched to monk for a fresh start once I was able to start making money, took it up to 30 for subjob, chocobo, and advanced job quests.

At some point during my monk career I started meddling with WHM to use as a sub for soloing monk, got it up to 12 or so. One day a IRL friend of mine who also plays this game and another person decided to level in Dangruf Wadi/Highlands, and I went as a WHM. Got WHM to 13-14, and I wound up really liking the job, so I made WHM my main until I hit 37. By that time I was pretty bored with WHM so I basically just started farming/goofing off/doing whatever for a while.

Anyway, got sent to Korea, and for some odd reason I picked up my lvl 18 BLM, and found that I really liked this job as well lol. So I got some uber BLM equipment, and leveled him to 32. Then a game update came out, which added some solo avatar battles for a job that previously you needed a 60+ job to be able to fight the avatars.

Yep, picked up my level 5 summoner, and soloed it all the way to 27, doing the solo avatar battles at 20. Took forever to solo it x_X (definately not BST lol) then I started partying until I hit 44 a month ago, and went on vacation. Now that I'm about to return I'm thinking of leveling Beastmaster. Did a lot of research into the job with all the free time I've had ( :D ) and it seems to be the job for me while I'm still in Korea and unable to party with most of you due to the time zone difference.

Don't know how long I'll stick with Beastmaster lol, but it should be for the next 6 months at least. :P I still plan to play summoner on weekends since I'm obviously off work and able to play when a lot of you are still on. Once I get to Alaska and am in/near the same time zones again, I'll probably level up RDM some more, only mage job I've got now that isn't above level 30.

lol maybe i should get fraps on my comp again and take a pic of my job levels lol and you can see how often I change my jobs lol.
