Yea yea, I know, I'm posting about Final Fantasy X, but as I am poor, I found a compact PS2 for dirt cheap, and I've always wanted to play X through. However, I am stuck in a bit of a conundrum about the Cloudy mirror -> Celestial mirror part. I've got the Cloudy mirror, have already found the husband the son/wife were stupidly looking for, but now all they (wife and husband) say to me is how thankful they are that I found him, and completely overlooking the fact their son is fucking missing, and why won't you let me go find him? Normally I'd say fuck it, and build my own weapons, but I've practically half the key items for the weapons anyways, so I wants them (also so I can break the barriers on the lesser aeons). Anyone have a clue what the fuck I'm missing?

Oh, and for progress into the game, I've stopped just after finally handing Semour's ass to him for the last time, if that means anything.

You may need to talk to them repeatedly until they mention their missing son, they're retarded.

Just copying and pasting the info I have in the guide because there's no way I remember this, been so long since i've played.

1. Talk to the mother and son standing near the Save Sphere in Macalania Woods - South. The mother will mention that her husband is supposed to meet her.

2. Then go to Macalania Woods - Campsite and talk to the man to the right who is her husband. Tell him where his wife and son are and return to Macalania Woods - South.

3. Head up in the mysterious, glowing path near the save sphere. At the intersection, head north until you see the boy standing in front of the large spherical crystal.

4. Talk to the boy and use the Cloudy Mirror on the crystal. The cloudy mirror will change into the celestial mirror.

Hope that helps

I'm actually just playing this game through again, too. Heh, the chocobo races underneath Remiem Temple are fucking annoying. The 5chest one takes a million tries and four gigantic truckloads of luck to win. I forget if 60 Three-stars is even worth it...
