Tiny Gripe III

This is where you just go screw this shit what the hell is the point? The tards can't even wear the right gear or use subs that are actually beneficial to an extent? There has been times where a BLM has needed to DS+Curaga, but honestly /rdm? Does fast cast even make much of a difference when sub'd? Maybe one more point of int that isn't enough to justify /rdm in an exp party.

As for the crappy gear that is typical nubs don't care what the hell they wear because no matter what people are stupid enough to invite them just because they want the fastest way to 75. I wont help them with anything unless they prove they know something about their job and know how to do it. WAR/MNK? Was he using a Gaxe atleast? If he wasn't I would have asked {Ninja} {Do you have it?} then say {Axe}/{Axe} {You can use this} or something.

This flame sucks. Names or it didnt happen... At least that adds a slight dramatic effect

Boo hoo, i partied with morons, i had a pretend cannon, and someone wasnt prepared when I asked them to party. Welcome to any MMO. Maybe this isnt your type of game.

Wrong!!! Maybe this isn't THIER type of game. Shitty players are the reason people make cannons, because I'd rather have a shitty cannon job than a shitty "regular" jobs.

A shitty SAM will make me think about taking another SAM i don't know when there is a WAR seeking as well.

lolridill.

Coincidentlaly I wanted to respond to Lavi an Tim. @Lavi, I agree and I tend to be quite harsh and berate people for being Severly gimp. A few things here and there, you know like a questional back piece, NQ items, etc I let slide, I mean, if they have the general sense of what they shoudl be doing, and are making an effort to at the least aquire the next best alternatives, then yeah, ok, it's cool. But I am talking about being invited to a party with a non-RMT warrior sporting thier nation ring, subbing a level 4 WHM, and still wearing Lizard gear, "Tanking" at 30ish... Yes, I did leave the party very quickly, and gave up on the idea of leveling a lower level job for a bit. I decided to come here and complain instead.

@Tim, no names needed, this is a 'general' flame to the public. I wouldn't go so far as to say I partied with a moron, just someone that didn't understand the concept that they were bringing a group down, and this is a team oriernted game. I'd give the benefit of the doubt and just state they were naive is all. As for the rest of your responce I will just file it with the rest of my hatemail form the 'non-cannon' job folks that have been kicking my ribs since my last post...

Its unfortunately impossible to flame a Ridill, it really is that good.

Pshh, not as good as my Holy Sword. That addition light effect damage i bust with that bad boy is a real doozie.

How dare those SE fucktards not give Ridill an additional effect evasion down proc!

Generally I've tried in some cases informthem of what theyre mising and how to get it if the stuff they aren't missing isn't too bad sometimes or state in a logical manner why using ninja as a subjob at lv 19 is a bad idea as a general example. Considering my bard wasted shitload of time in quifim because I refused to party with people wearing /nin pre 24 or not close to leveling to 24 that strategy oviously didnt work. One pld tried to be witty and ask if he could sub mnk for boooost when I asked for people to use a subjob that at least makes logical sense when I requested a few members use a better sub and listed the multitude of subjobs that would work out better for them including /drg /drk /war /thf (for the agi) /sam (storetp is better than dual weild 1 on a rng) /mnk (to stack boost with a ws at the start of a fight) ect ect.

Are you talking about all jobs?

I may have a fuzzy memory, but don't you get dual-wield at 20?

I'm not really sure what you are getting at there.

Great axe at those levels do more damage than dual wielded axes could do?

That's true for War to a point. I never really bothered parsing really low level parties, but you don't get sturmwind until the jungle, so dual axes probably would be better with raging axe or whavever that 2-fold WS was. Until you get sturmwind i can't really say one is really better than the other.

Would Thf go /war at that level? I know i went Thf/nin the second i hit level 20.

Any other job though is probably dumb, except for maybe a party bst?

20-30 I think /DRG (+10acc) or /DRK (+10att) is best for any non-tank DD job. If you're dual wielding non-stat weapons at that level you're just effectively doubling your delay and nothing else.

The funny thing is that drg is the best sub bar none for melee 20-29 but most people won't invite you if you're subbing it. You can always ask the pt if you can change after you get invited, or just do it and go anon. rofl.

I must be missing something, but why is subbing drg so great?

Pre lvl 30:

melee/drg: Attack Bonus at lvl 20, free attack from Jump every 90 seconds.
melee/war: Defense Bonus at lvl 20, provoke.
melee/nin: Dual Wield (crappy version) at 20, Utsusemi at 24
melee/drk: Attack Bonus at 20
melee/rng: Accuracy Bonus at 20, Sharpshot/Scavenge
melee/sam: Store TP (crappy version) at 20, Resist Blind

Because as mentioned in the posts above yours, /DRG gives +10 acc, which is incredibly good for the lower levels where acc of any kind is near impossible to come across. until about 90 skill in a weapon, the acc sushi gives is actually less than that of Jack-o'-Lantern (which gives 10 as well), but eating acc food at this low of a level leaves you with incredibly poor attack.

Thus, eating some sort of static-attack food (such as a ricecake) and subbing DRG gets you the best results by a long shot.
