Not really sure where I am going with this, I am just kind of bored. I think I was just trying to get to the point that Batash isnt at all racist. Cant really remember though. I really shouldnt type when I am sleepy. I lost my train of thought completely. So I am just going to stop typing now.

Everyone always making genralizations about "NA are Racist" or "JP are racist". The truth is, we are all human. SOME humans are racist, so one might say "SOME JP are racist" or "SOME NA are racist".

Blanket statements are simply false, there is not a genral group of people that you can say "these poeple all have (X) trait".

I am a NA player, and I have had some wonderful party's with Japanese players (Holly inparticular). I have had some wonderful partys with North American players. I have also had some real shitty parties with both types of players. One thing I know, is that the race/nationality/religion/sex/shoesize or anyother genralization had absolutly nothing to do with it. It all just depends on how open all the players are to try and communicate.

Darkdante.. I've partied with you before, you are definatly a skilled player, and you seemed like a good guy. Not wanting to party b/c of language barrier is completly understandable. No foul there. To each his/her own.

Sneakypants.... you gotta be white.... either that, or you've seen 1 too many A&E Biography specials on Slavery.

Yes I'm white...But no, I never watch A&E. A have friends of all different creeds and colors, and I am strictly making fun of this thread. Nothing more or less.

I will have to side with DarkDante with this one. And yes, I do respect him. DarkDante wasn't racially prejudiced in any way. He was merely fed up with the Japs saying "NA/ENG party = X" or anything to that degree, which I suppose we all are at times. That doesn't formulate any one of us as chauvinistic. All that philosophical nonsense you get from the Japs (including you Batash) on it's all about cultural discrepancy that's making the Japs say "NA=X" is bullshit. Some Japs have a preference not to party with us is because they think North American players suck. Plain and simple. It's not because of

Regular party = 6 people. You have Damage Dealers, Sponges, and maybe a few healers/enfeeblers/enhancers. It doesn't matter if one, two, three, or five of them are Jap. Or if two, four or five are North American players. The communication is simple. In order to get EXP, you need to chain.

"In what order shall we do our weapon skills"

"Heal!"

Some of the basic ones you need to know (plus some others I obviously didn’t mention). You don't need to be a God or Buddha to party with the other race for the reason that of cultural differences or to “think” as you say how the other race plays. It’s not that big of a deal. Most Japs have no confidence in North American players and that’s it. DarkDante didn’t do anything wrong by rejecting your offer. He didn’t say he didn’t want to party with Japs flat out just as 99% of the Japs say in reverse. He said

Maybe DarkDante was simply reluctant to party with an astute adolescent such as you. After all, not too many people like you around here, but does that make us all racist or bipartisan to children? No.
 
I agree. The whole racist thing is inevitably going to lead to bad things.
 
It's the internet my friend. Posting on qcdn about it is next to useless. People here are even more racist or narrow minded than the racists you'd meet in game. the only difference is that it takes skill to bring out racism on qcdn, on ffxi all you need is a language barrier =0.
