How much does Ballista counts for in the conquest by the way? We kicked both Sandy's and Windy's ass Saturday morning, but that did not seem to change anything.

I just see these chipmunks next to their flags, throwing pebbles at the Bastokans and San'dorians as they pass by. When you ask them to set your homepoint, they laugh and say "That will be 1600gil"... I swear some of them are gil sellers.

Alliance means our cp points count together against windy. Bastok cp goes towards sandy as well(tho not as much) ect ect.

Anyways, Don't be dissing Bastok.. We pwn all you other races so show respect to your masters. Time for an ingame history lesson:

If any of you bothered to read the game's story, early on the windy freaks had a monoply on magic.. and they used it to full power. After a while, Sandy managed to learn some of the magic, breaking the monoply, and then they promptly spanked the taru. (Though the saur. campain[sp?] stone tablet's story is amazing.. 3 taru mages routing a whole area of elvaan defenses.) The elvaan's went on, forming an empire. No one could stop them, they were indefeatable. That is of course, until they met us, the Hume. Bastok is a wolfling nation at the time, barely just formed. We have our galka buddies (btw,to all you who have not done the Bastok Missions.. the Galka's homeland was beseiged by the Antica.. they couldn't win so they ran, marking the only race to lose their home to the beastman, and we welcomed them... With the way most of the Galka treat hume, I'd think we should of kept that gate closed and let the Antica kill them all.) and us hume.. when the elvaan found us, they met a nice new invention... the gun. We not only lost, but got pwned. Their empire crushed, they drew inwards and retreated to their little castle homland and something about some other crap I don't remember. Yes, quite frankly the smartest man to live and the reason we have airships, Cid, a hume. Mighty leader of the powerful Tenshodo? Hume. God warrior of Norg? Hume. We seeing a pattern here? We all know and love Jeuno. What was it before? A -hume- fishing village, that's right it's hume. And despite what the traitor hume say their -allegience- is to, their birthland is Bastok.

Frankly tho I can't see why we are losing so often,bah. I'm guessing by looking at the census that it's simply numbers, elvaans are right next to hume as most played race. Most elvaan stick in sandy, and a good portion of ALL other races go to Sandy too. Which means more people to rack up Cp. Anyways, I'm not going to whine, despite what conquest says, I know which nation is the true winner. 8)
 
Humes are the reason for the shadow lord.. their Hume was the cause of roagarim's greif and sorrow and so it is all the Humes fault.. Humes suck ^^
 
Stfu ele, it was the GALKA'S rage that made him shadow lord, and it was fit a galka killed him anyways. Besides, that elvaan guy was likely to do it himself.. I'm glad that ghost or whatever the hell it was killed him.

Anyways, unlike all the other races that have a "general race" train of thought (i.e. all elvaan are arrogant and proud of themselves, it's a racial thing.) Hume don't have a general race train of thought... unless you want to count "free ambition" as one. Just about all hume have that.. frikin Pres. said so. Anyways, we need to kill him or something. I don't remember voting for him.
 
Ummm, every hume I've met has a hero complex..... So you could easily say Hume's are delusional. But this isn't a race war, it's a Nationality war. So lets get back to bashing whichever one you hate the most >.<
 
races are tied to nations. Elvaans are sandy, galka and hume are bastok, and mithra and tary are windy.

Anyways, windy is a dust mote to be ignored. 8) The real, and -only-, war is between Bastok and Sandy, tho I'm going to be honest and admit game wise, Sandy is winning, but I already said why I think so.
 
About that.. slaves? I don't see galka pulling carrages with hume. If you fools would read, the galka are pissed because we hume don't take them seriously and we use them for had labor. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A GALKA? Wtf those guys scream muscle, why would they not be construction workes and miners? You're forgeting we saved their asses, and gave them a home. They should be happy they can whine about work. They lived in a frikin desert, how could they complain about mining? I suppose it would of been better to let them not come to Bastok and give them a place to live and work, and leave them to face off against the Antica. This would of course lead to the massive slaughter of the galka, and the survivors would be out hiding under the burning sun, hard pressed to find water, and eating sand or each other.

I don't think they have the right to be pissed, sure some humans mistreat them but so what? We humans mistreat eachother. Elvaan backstab and trick, deceive. Eh.. taru are too naive to do anything like that imo, but dunno about those mithra. I suppose the galka should have large estates, and we should have a galka ruler, and intsead of Bastok it will be Galkaok.. and we humans will mine and plot, while the galka not invent guns or airships.. um.. well if they galka don't like it, they can go back to their own homland.. my bad, I forgot, the Antica call it home now. Well I guess they should head out to somewere and build their own god damn capital.
 
Sorry for the double post, but I left something out. Even the mithra who are not native to windurst have a home, kazham. And rabao should tech. not exist. S-E has a real reason why the beastman outside Jeuno, Bastok, ect don't attack or invade, each place is a military center and a fortified city. Rabao.. well.. even kazham could defend themselves, and norg can, but I can't see Rabao holding off a Antica attack. Guess gameplay overrides storyline here. Oh well.

I think Sanjo is just bitter because his nation gets it's ass kicked every week by Sandy and Windy.
 
It's not arrogance, it's the simple truth. Read up at the official FFXI website. About windy, eh well it's always been that way. Bastok and Sandy just seem to have this.. -thing- against each other.. we have the classic blue vs red.. and then over there.. um green. Besides, the taru are not fighting peoples anyways, they don't really care, look how they react to ballista in the B. license quest. Now bastok and sandy.. they want blood. That's why I say Windy doesn't matter. They frikin have a "peace" treaty with the yagudo, and give them magic weapons as part of it.. right..

About the Hero of Windurst, that's actually a good trubute and a funny story. You see, this hero's story was:

During the crystal war, the beastman basically got pissed and tired at the powerful magic and mages of windurst, and of not being able to crumple their soft tender bodies thanks to bastokan and sandorian forces. So the decided to strike the source, windurst itself. The battle was going bad for windurst, they were losing, and the beastman were nearing the wall. They lost a lot of their best combat mages that day, and all seemed lost once the Hero gave up his life in a final plead to summon Fenrir. Fenrir alone held off the beastman forces until reinforcments from Bastok and Sandy arrived to aid windy.

My props to him, but still Fenrir shares his credit.
 
Uhh yeah but Fenrir=Windurst and the person who summoned him is in fact a Windurstian. Kicking ass, taking names - and doing it once again :twisted:
 
So your sayin galka arent slaves, but they are second class citizens?
 
Bleh, that treaty annoys me as well. I'm not going to be an apologist for my weak-willed, vertically-challenged neighbors.
