Yesterday I was leveling with some friends and invited a redmage named Tripods to join us. We were in Aydeewa Subterrane fighting the crawlers. We were all lvl 58-60 but kind of struggling a bit killing the mobs at the beginning when Tripods says "maybe we should fight lesser colibri still." I told him that a few of us were already fighting them before the party gaining about 90ish xp and that I didnt think we would be getting good experience off of them. I pull a third crawler and he disappears. Thanks, appreciate that.

We end up disbanding a little while later and guess who I see run by me in Whitegate... Tripods. No "hey got D/C'd and just able to get back", no "hey my power went out" no kind of excuse and apology. I was kinda pissed about not getting my level lol so I was like fuck it and sent a /tell "Good job on the Forced D/C, I appreciate that." I get a response of "Hey Asshole My aunt hit the cord and unplugged my modem." I laughed thinking to myself, how long does it take to plug that bitch back in when he sent another saying "And then she knocked my PS2 down and it broke." Now give me a fuckin break, your shit is broke but you are playing right now running past me?! get the fuck outta here.

Anyway, If you don't want to party because things aren't going your way, say something and leave. Don't be a little bitch about the shit and D/C mid fight because everyone doesn't jump on your side to fight birds for 90xp a pop. So to you Tripods and any other little bitch who does this shit.. FUCK YOU!
 
Word. Forced D/C is fucking weak sauce.

I had a problem like this last night, Because we wouldnt fight what he wanted, he forced d/c could tell because he mt'd a tell saying " Give me 20 mins and i will brt" , came back and joined the party next to us.

i don't know why people are so chicken to say "I'm sorry guys, this pt don't work out for me, lets just disband" saying something like this won't hurt... and if someone is like <1k tnl, i will stay longer a bit to get that person level, only like 4-5 200+exp mob
 
Well atleast we ended up having a great time, and getting quite good exp, even if we had no refresher and I was dual boxing. ^_^

definately.. still was just frustrating as hell though. I was even ok about it until I saw his little ass run by me and not say shit.
 
58-59 you can still get good XP off of Lesser Colibri. >.>;; 60 it kinda goes down, and a 60 should move into Puks I guess. If you're staying in the same area. But that's just me... and that's off topic. Force D/C's suck, but y'know what. Why wait for the guy complaining about the XP, Battles, and what-not? Just find someone else. What annoys me more as people who join parties for the 2k they need to level, then log out/DC/Leave party. If you gotta go, say you gotta go. I did that last night and it worked out great with the guys I partied with.
 
Whats just as bad is when you give a 30 min warning and the party gives you guilt. As a bard I often get "ahhhhhh whaa whaa but its so hard to replace a bard cant you stay just like only 2 more hours til I level pls pls omg dont be an ass"..... ummmm yeah.....

Dont get me wrong, 95% of people understand. But some people are sensitive and will be affected by that other 5%, thus forcing D/C.

I will admit though, I myself have forced D/C before. Jumping to the next party or magicly appearing in Whitegate weak but sometimes when your party is garbage, your wife is yelling at you and you got some terrible diarrhea, that off switch looks dam good.

there were 3 lvl 60's 2 lvl 59's and the 58 was the rdm i believe unless he was 59 also.. not 100% sure. I wait to see if they will come back. Not long, but long enough before starting to search for a replacement which we did find. My thing is don't be such a bitch though and force D/C just because you dont get your way. Hell, we had just started the party.. usually first couple of fights are kinda slow from my experiences.

We were actually 61, V and me.
So colibris would not do it for us.
Another thing was that we were both anon,
since we were a bunch of friends haning out,
in need of refresh, I didn't think about
taking off anon, so the RDM could see our
level....

Force D/C's just not right,
like someone said, better to say
that you think you would like
to disband insted of leaving your
party mid battle.

Oh well, the world is filled with asses. ^_^
 
hmmm I do not think I have ever forced d/c'd in a party even ones that were getting the worst exp you can. I just think its wrong and when I do have to go I try and give the leader and party a 1 hour warning and start looking for a replacement about 15 minutes before I have to leave.

And I have been in some bad parties take one I had on my pld for example now I stade and did not force dc or just leave the party but I started out at 58 leveled to 59 the deleveled 3 times I ended up leaveing the party at 56 everyone else leveled one to two times. Now this was before pld had auto-refresh the pulled would pull with me at 20 to 30 mp rdm would not refresh me worth shit I had to make juices to try and get some mp and eat cookie. Oh god that party sucked but ya I think is shitty when people force d/c because they thing the exp sucks or when the fucking pld or nin tank you have drops party because they died two maybe 3 times because a mob links or you get a pop in the middle of the camp. Ok I have had my rant of the hour back to watching tv at work /sign I only have access to WoW here.

One of many reasons why Blackfetherm is the first person not allowed a pearl to my newly formed blu ls, lol. I was with him/her trying to learn Spinal Cleave (that spell is a bitch to learn >.< ). After he learns it, he DC's maybe 2mobs later.

I remember awhile ago I ended up in three parties with Blackfetherm, every single time he leveled, he just logged out. Didn't even to bother to pretend to force disconnect.
 
If you go to the watchtower that camp is good till like 65-66 and I think I started there at 59+.You just need to have it for yourself if you are higher than 63-64 because you will be murdering the birds.

maybe we can start compiling a list of all the people that force dc, and then when they get a party, we can ask them to do the rare "Can you grab somethin real quick?" or if theyre a mage, wait til they get SOME sort of hate, then have the entire pr force dc.

Or if theyre the puller, just kick them from pt when they pull. But forcing a DC from 5 people would be funny lol.
