Now I'm not saying Decidence is a bad guy ro what not. Just saying when it comes down to it you either trust your leaders or you don't. Trying to say "Well I'm better than that guy" is a rather poor argument when Prophecy never attempted to censor any complaints about him via the OH messageboard. Nor was anyone kicked or antagonized over it. As well the post led to policy change which makes any talk of stealing purely uncredible.

Not to say Decidence was wrong to delete the post, as I don't know the actual content of it nor the general BoL environment - simply to say don't shift the subject to where you don't have a foot to stand on.

actually, i had the very first post, in which all the members (including deci) posted in, and it was deleted.... i, the leader of the revolution, was also deleted from the forums

sad times :D
 
To grasinthor, give it up buddy, no one cares, Deci pwned you out of your fucking socks in his first post

I know leaders who have powertrips, and trust me deci is not one... Deci is one of the best thigns to ever happen to BoL, but you wouldnt know that because you have absolutely no end game expierence and you dont know what the fuck is happening

Yep, he pawned me in the BoL forums by deleting my posts lol. As for deci being one of the best things that ever happened to BoL, that's a long shot comment to say unless you want a dictator in your mists. Probably since you haven't really been in game for a while yourself, I can see why you may think otherwise. And having absolutely no end game experience? Try again. I've probably gotten more respect as a high level Dragoon than you will ever get. I'm not pissed off at all. I'm actually feeling pretty fine to tell you the truth. I get into a shell you used to be in while you are on your way out. Things seem to be going pretty well, don't ya think?

And maybe if you were directing your comment about my sig to Deci, you shouldn't open up the paragraph as "As for Lanien,"

Wasn't deleted for a long time, until the discussion was long over. Even people like Lucylittle and Ithenas(people who ran the bank at one point or another) after no longer being OH members and having a falling out with Proph have consented your booting was for a mixture of being extremely selfish while at the same time never participating. It seems somewhat obvious when you asked to get back in hoping to get an Osode then leave.

And I am just putting forth - I'm not trying to knock on BoL. Just saying... don't try to shift the focus of the discussion towards a LS not guilty of the same problem. As far as censorship is concerned, that's a touchy issue. A lot of people have very different views on censorship. Everyone has something that seems to set them off. For me, thievery makes me unbelievably angry, even if I wasn't the person who was robbed. For Gras, it would seem censorship is his hot button.

Whenever someone decides to censor, they must see there's a mix of good and bad. The person you're most likely to offend is, obviously the person who is being censored. It's a tactical decision in this case... deciding to censor Gras to achieve the new LS member Lanien. As a leader Decidence decided he would risk it. Did the censorship as a whole help to LS by removing negativity, did it hurt the LS by removing a sense of freedom? Does Lanien make up for the loss of Grasinthor? Are either worth the spectacle ensued? As said previously, it's complicated and it's a gamble, and I won't condemn censorship but at the same time I don't see it as the most intelligent means to control a unfavorable situation, just the easiest. Just my random thoughts.

And that my friends is the appropriate way to handle a post. Thank you Sculli.

And secondly, this the issue is about deletion of posts for censorship and how things were handled. You talk about a year ago. Whatever the issue was, the actions taken RECENTLY by deci were not appropriate especially for submitting an opinion on recruitment etc etc. Also same goes for the deletion of resignations just for the simple fact that you have the ability to delete whatever you like on a forum for no reason whatsoever.

I must say one thing, deci's friends are good at trying to shift the topic to what may be convenient for them. Too bad deci can't handle this himself and needs others to try to derail the main issue.

Firestreak pointed a similiar issue out with what happened on the OH board. In the BoL case, posts didn't stay on until older posts were to become deleted for maintance of forum after the post had been made public for a sufficient amount of time where all were able to view it accordingly. The posts on the BoL forum were deleted for no good reason. The rest has already been mentioned over and over again in this thread.
 
Gras I never really spoke with you I don't think, but honestly why are you bringing pretty much the whole LS into this if the issue in hand is really between you and Deci? I understand that Deci is a leader and what not of BoL but you are making this sound as if what Deci does reflects on the LS. IMO for whatever it counts to you or anyone else out here might more than likely will be worth nothing but I believe what you are doing is BULL SHIT!!!

Ok yeah he deleted whatever you posted but honestly dont you think that you where a bit overboard on the issue of flaming a potential member? You where gone for a while, and you come back to flame or call out people that you think should not be in the shell for whatever reason, but yet at the same time you left, abandonned, forgot about BoL. Well until one day you said hmmm lemme see what they are up to now, and then find someone you dont like and start some drama up.

Honestly you put yourself in the situation, be a man and suck it up. Also I will back up Deci as well, I know at times he can be a prick say shit that makes you say wtf. Other times he is cool as fuck, guess you just gotta know when and how to talk to people. Anyways those are my 2 cents, been with BoL a while now and been thru some fun times and crazy shit but have been thru with them as friend, a team, and a family. You know how it is and goes, sometimes you just gotta go with it. Anyways good luck with what you are trying to accomplish.

it is my understanding that Grasinthor just wanted BoL to know what was going on.. I'm sure if his posts hadn't been deleted on the BoL forums he'd have done it there, this apparently was an issue he felt he really needed to address.
