I also can't see much difference between you selling your account and someone stealing it. The only thing lost is some money, not your reputation. You said you'd tell your friends after you sell the acc, but isn't that what you're doing now, telling us the Kagomei in game now is not you?

And I wish this happen to everyone who's gonna sell their acc after quitting. Acc selling = gil selling.

Yea, after all who'd want some kick-back on the time and money they spent on the game .... :roll: Get over yourself, alot of people would take some cash back vs just dropping it, honestly IMO it's a smart thing to do. If you really wanna down selling your account why not mention the buyer woulda robbed you anyway :P

Regardless you're right seawolf, who gives a damn? you were going to sell your account, went about it in a stupid manor, and got it stolen and now you're worried about your "reputation"? i actually got a chuckle out of this irl.
 
the fact is..i did not sell the account but during the process of it got stolen..what the hell is wrong with you people it seem like i'm the bad guy here for doing somthing like this..but the other person dont get blame at all?

Um..... no? you were in the middle of a bonehead move and got jacked, what gives you room to gripe now? Granted it's a nasty situation all around and i'd gather if enough people cared they'd go ahead and jump the other guy's ass about it but the bottom line is this:

1. I'm sure your friends care, i know i would if i knew ya personally in game.
2. While your frustration is somewhat warranted you got jacked while
breaking the ToS, kinda hard to feel sorry for ya.
3. If it's such a big deal ban the account already.
4. you put yourself in the situation.

Not trying to be a complete tool or anything but let's call this what it is and not try to go for the pity trip. Grow some cahones(sp?) and ban the account if you can, you're not using it anymore, right?
 
Well.. you are both in the wrong.

It isn't looked kindly upon here when people sell their accounts. The fact that you were in the middle of selling the account when it got stolen kind of makes people not feel that bad for you.

I feel for you, really.. but what are you upset about? That you didn't get your money? That someone is running around on your character pretending to be you? If you had successfully sold the account, would you be here complaining? Because in all honesty, if you had sold the account (yes yes, I know it was stolen), you can't complain when someone else is playing your character.

Yeah, I know a lot of people sell their acc and nobody can't do sh*t about it. Just find it funny that many people hold a double-standard regarding gilselling/gilseller.
 
thats not me..its the guy who stole the acc..pretending like me..and i'm not even a guy >.<
 
He didn't say it was you, what he was implying was that you were the girlfriend.
 
I think, that Dark is also implying, that he stole your account to get back at you, whether or not it's the truth or not I have no idea.

hate to play the bad guy, but stop saying it was stolen, you gave him the info willingly. I can never say something is stolen when you actually hand the item over to the other party. SE isn't going to help you because you lost your content ID in a potential breach of SE POL agreement. You still don't seem to have any intent on playing the game, but you want your character back.... seems to me you are trying to sell it again. So really, if your motives are purely to stop this guy from playing as you, just cancel the account.

I personally have no moral distinction between gil sellers and character sellers. Hell, check any gil buying website, plenty of characters for sale on them. When you sell your character you are promoting the trade of real money for videogame comfort and rewarding lack of initiative. It ruins the game. This is why we have dip shits that are level 60+ and have no idea how to play the game. I resent it because you are slowly muddying the waters for those of us still playing.
