Congratulations on the loss yesterday, you must be proud of yourselves. However, it was very reassuring to look at that game. I can say a few things just by watching that game:

  • The NFC East is definitely the power division of the NFL.
  • The Redskins would be first or second in the NFC West division.
  • Of the 4 NFC East Teams, Redskins are the weakest team right now.
  • Jason Taylor does show signs of progression, but the poor guy continues to be screwed by Snyder. The coaching changes are hurting him and the team.
  • Clinton Portis looked very good, as did the special teams.
  • In a division with Jacob, Westbrook, and Barber... Well, that run defense is your achilles heel this year.
  • I will be extremely upset if the Redskins don't play better, as it maintains my pride as an NFC East supporter (Eagles ftw)

lol <3 you. Hey, I was unbiased in my judgement damnit! I pointed out strengths and flaws. Honestly, I want to see everyone in the NFC East above .500 and 3 of us go to the playoffs again for the third or fourth straight year. I just doubt it'll be the Redskins because Snyder is only making it harder for his young players by constantly changing the coaching staff.

I'll throw in my 2 cents.

The Redskins were hard to watch. What NFL team doesn't have a no huddle offense with the situation calls for it?

My local high school team runs a no huddle, colleges who students only practice 15 hours a week run no huddles. The Redskins were absolutely un prepared, and quite frankly it was embarrassing. It was amature coaching, the offense predictable.

Not trying to bash anybody's favorite team, but even though the score was kinda close, the Skins were dominated by the G-men last night.

Heh, if you thought the Redskins were hard to watch you should have watched the Raider's game Monday night... Absolute hilarity.

As bad as the Redskins are, I'm kinda worried about my boys playing them tomorrow. We got hit with the injury bug bad.

Colston, Fujita, Harper, Gay, Thomas all out and all starters. 4 defensive starters, gone. Guess the Saints are about to find out how good our depth is.

lol Skins won against the lolSaints.

EVen Jimmy Johnson said the Skins are the bottom of the glorious NFC East.

Oh it showed.

So Colston, Harper, Fujita, Gay, Thomas out. Glenn went down in the 4th qt, our 3rd on the depth chart CB. When he went down, it got even worse, and thats when Cambell started picking us apart.

I mean we were down to JASON CRAFT LOL.

The 'Aints were hard to watch. What NFL team doesn't have a no huddle offense with the situation calls for it?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.

We missed two field goals, and fumbled a punt (ALL in the 1st half) and still won. The 'Aints are shitty. I have no fucking clue why any of their fans are so high and mighty. 'Aints were 7-9 last year. That's not even sniffing the playoffs, that was a losing record.

Really classy of Reggie "I'm not a WR" Bush to cost his team 15 yards after a back breaking punt return. As soon as he hot dogged, I knew the 'Aints would lose. Karma is a bitch, you over rated piece of trash Bush.

Wait wait. Let me get this straight. We have 6 starters out of the game, and lose another one. Missing our biggest threat on offense in Colston. It takes the skins to the last 3 minutes of the game to beat a terrible saints team riddled with injury? Where does that put your team?

Oh yeah, dead last in the NFC East.

Also, I stand by my first statement, even if you beat my team. I'm no homer. I look at all teams and judge accordingly. Your team looked horrible the first game of the season, which had nothing to do with the game vs. the Saints.

So what you're saying is:

Philadelphia Eagles > Washington Redskins?

Yes.

I think Philly is the best team in the East, even if they lose tonight. Mcnabb is outstanding, doing all this with backup WR's. Hopefully that Rookie Deasan Jackson pans out, looks like he will too.

Wait, my team is shitty? My team went to the playoffs. My team beat yours. These aren't "objective" observations as you claim you're making. It's fact.

Stop with this injury crying. We were without 3 starters and played half the game without Jason Taylor. GOOD TEAMS HAVE DEPTH AND THAT IS WHY THEY GO TO THE PLAYOFFS.

Even your own local coverage knows that it was more than injury. Your offense was shit and didn't execute worth a damn when they needed to. http://blog.nola.com/jeffduncan/2008/09/saints_offense_not_efficient_a.html

Last in the east huh? So objective of you. We will just see about that. 14 long weeks to go. What I CAN tell you is that last in the east in 2007 (Eagles 8-8) was better then the 7-9 'Aints.

'Aints suck.

For starters where in my regular post did I even mention the Saints? As a matter of fact, I stated later on I was worried about my team in this matchup in my second post. I was just making an observation from a NFL fan stand point that your team wasn't very good. My team could go 1-15 and that still doesn't change the fact that your team could be a bad team based off there first performance.

3 key starters? NOPE . WE didnt have our top running back, our top reciever, our top Inside Linebacker, our top Cornerback, our top Saftety. Lets see you win without Porter, Landry, Moss, etc. The fact that our offense played so poorly and with the slew of injuries on our defense, it's a wonder we were in the game from the start. Get my point? We shouldn't have. The offense had an off day, but yet we lead with 4 minutes left. Just shows how poor your team really is. Your team is in a tough divison, so naturally I compare them too the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys.
My team on the other hand has Carolina in our Division. So our shot is much better then yours.

It's just one game. Last year means nothing. Can't win them all. Good teams lose to bad teams all the time. Glad the injury bug is hitting us early then later. When we get healthy, we'll be ok. (Denver game could get ugly for us if our secondary doesn't get healthy).

Oh and btw if your team makes a lot of improvements then i'll eat crow and admit it. I just think your team isn't very good and the Skins' offensive stats were inflated because they went against a mediocre defense at best made worse because of injuries. You're right though, 14 more weeks, so we'll see.

I just like seeing this. XD If my Eagles win tonight, that oughta stir some shit in the news/blogs/rankings XD

Plus, McNabb wasn't really playing "McNabb Caliber" football. He was obviously still hampered by his knee surgery. He looks good now. However, our last place team had the 7th overall record in the NFC.
  • Dallas Cowboys NFC East
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Seattle Seahawks
  • New York Giants NFC East
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Washington Redskins NFC East
  • Minnesota Vikings / Philadelphia Eagles NFC East

Well Mcnabb is looking pretty good now. Defense/special teams is allowing some big plays though.

So far I stand corrected. Your team is 2-1 while mine is 1-2 lol

Two games lost because we couldn't get one freakin yd. ONE. Oh well.

It helps when Denver lines up offsides and the ref's don't call it. Denver = destined to win a superbowl, since the ref's are apparently paid off every game.

On a nice side note: Check NFL.com and FoxSports.com's Power Rankings. Top 3 = NFC East. The best division in football baby. Redskins are up there too on the NFL.com's I believe.

Denver has nothing to brag about. if i were their coach I'd be pissed. they are 3-0 by the skin of their teeth. their last 2 games have been high scoring near losses. i'm betting they be the first of the undefeated teams to lose. that luck wont last forever.
