thanks for the warning, that guy seem like a get his genbu shield and leave type of guy. I concur with romperstomper should have called GM on that tell it was very uncalled for.
 
I did call a GM but of course.. "We'll investigate it for you.." which means they are going to do jack. :/`
 
Wow Isollde, sorry to hear that... those are kind of peopple would never be in my shell. Dead-bodies drag down the linkshell. Because they do nothing but greedy and always find reason to cause problem. Neither be part of the linkshell or boom bye, that is my game. Got no time for baby sit around and no time to waste if they are not here to be part of the legacy. But GL though.... I saw you guys at genbu that time I was afk picking my wife..but it was cool...

lol I would actually enjoy seeing a thread saying this guy got booted from a Sky shell for ninja lotting a booby prize like G's Shield. Seems like this cat is just stupid enough to actually be excited about it. "I gots kicked out and ostracized from sky, but I got this badass mufakin shield! orz!!111"

Not sure if he's still in your shell, but uuuh... a player by the name of Brokenchain would be almost a duplicate of this guy being flamed. I was actually going to mention to Isollde that I had an experience very similar, my social/event ls had decided to do a ZM-Sky run for some of our members, and one of our new members Brokenchain begged to be allowed on the run. We had said yes because we had an open spot, but that was the worst mistake we could ever make.

The guy continued to get aggro throughout the ZM5 missions, especially in Ifrit's Cauldron. He didn't buy any oils/powders and we had to give him ours. He didn't bring food, and at one point when we ran into Ash Dragon he pretty much ditched us and ran outside to Yhoator Jungle and waited there while we attempted to raise ourselves and get past him. (Gawd that thing has the most annoying aggro range ever....) Then when we finally got outside to get to him, he had gotten himself lost while "exploring". I remember the rest of the missions being as equally irritating and i'm glad that it wasn't long until he was booted from leeching. =/

I can definitely relate to your story Isollde (well except for the insult he directed to you, that was uncalled for and hopefully no endgame shell will take him now)

LOL we had this happen with another Member. I had brought a stack of oil and powders and bazaared them for emergencies. this play (who will remain nameless since this flame isn't about her.) bought both stacks immediately. and then preceded to do jack shit the entire run. We also ran into the Ash Dragon, and she sat at the zone in Yhoator, complaining about.. "I don't want to lose my exp.." while moink, myself and a few other were dying multiple times eating R1's to get everyone else raised and through.

she was booted shortly after for getting on my damn nerves... but really whats with these "zomgz... EXP" people lately? you cant be bother to lose some exp for your linkshell and its cause, you have no business in endgame.

I tried a pickup BCNM Petrifying pair with this Precise guy about three months ago. He was RDM63. He shows up to bcnm (no orb). We brief him on EXACTLY what he's supposed to do. We get in, and he's naked, no armor. Shoulda bailed then, but figured he'd stoneskin and be okay. Wrong!! So he casts gravity and bind on the Silver/grey lizard then rests. I say Kite!! Kite, and he does nothing. We get both lizards on us and use all hi-potions, 2hrs and wipe.

We get outside and I ask him is that his highest job, he says yes. Then I ask him if he bought his character and he says: "No, I since beginning 2003"

Bullshit!! In 4 years you manage to get RDM to 63? nice job!!

Then after I talk to the other PLD a bit, he says: "GO again please?"

Sorry you got this guy thru ZM.

Think before speaking. My wife's been playing since US release, and her main job (WHM) is only 63, and she only has PLD up to 64.

I could have sworn that Paladin and Warrior only got Vorpal Blade.

So does this mean DRK gets it natively? I don't have sword that high yet, but IIRC, the only sword skill DRK doesn't get that PLD does is Swift Blade.

Ive been playing since spring 2004, and have only DRK and BLU to 75. I also, however, switched from ragnarok after a 4 month period where I didnt play and my character was deleted. This was around fall/winter 2005.

So technically, nearly 2 years on quetz with only 2 75's. Not too odd really

This is hilarious, because my husband did this exact same BC with Precise as RDM kiter like 5-6 months ago, and they wiped the first run because he didn't know how to kite. They sat him down and schooled him, and they barely managed to win the second run; but apparently the lesson didn't stick. Thick skull apparently?

Yeah, drk gets savage blade :) Vorpal is still better, though, :/

Whenever I go play around randomly, camping NM's and missions and stuff, I always use a sword.. Just more fun. Use axe occasionally also.

Its too bad DRK cant learn the good GA WS's :(

Nono, I know we get Savage Blade at 75. I'm asking if we get Vorpal? Maybe you answered me and I'm missing it :D
