Was the anime for To-Love-Ru any good. I've seen it a few times on rightstuf but haven't bothered picking it up yet.

Can't say for sure. I've never seen it myself, it has a filler end, several OVAs and there is a 2nd season in production. I'll try and get the anime soon and see what I feel.

I bought it and well it's not exactly a "must-see" anime in my opinion. To me it's just another cliche comedy harem series with a little more than normal ecchi/fan-servicey moments. If you have seen Rosario+Vampire or Seto no Hanayome (My Bride is a Mermaid) then it's somewhat similar I guess.

I only bought it cause that's the kind of amime I like heh

Personally, from reading the manga I got more of an impression of Urusei Yatsura by Rumiko Takahashi than anything else when it comes to ecchi harem comedies, mainly because this was kind of similar in it's beginning. Rosario + Vampire has gotten more action lately and I can't say I've read much of Seto no Hanayome's manga (But I loved the anime).

In any case, I'm just glad it's coming back in Jump SQ. I was kind put off with the ending where:

Spoiler:
Rito confesses to EVERYONE by accident. Personally I'd have preferred to see an ending where he just confesses to Lala.

In any case, I'm gonna try and ask Viz if they plan on licensing the manga.

Is this series Mayoi Neko Overrun! or something else? They've already had Rito's sister appear in a panel of Mayoi Neko Overrun!

No, it's not Overrun. It is definitely To Love-Ru, which means he's going to be working on both at the same time, producing 70-80 pages a month.
