Then the poopoo about the blogs. Honestly, there is a section in Fan Arts iirc for Blogs that people post. QCDN's blog support is nilly-willy, also it isnt the point of the site so keeping the stat bar at the top and only moving it when we decided to read more blogs is not very snuggly.







Like i said, you have not been here in months, Miros has been the Captain and i am pretty sure people are happy with him being the head honcho, i know i am.

IMO, make Miros the owner of the site. He has done more for the site than you or lolNox ever did. All you did was come back, jolly up the skin and then just wave your sparkler of power in front of anyone.

Well considering Reeve is paying out of his own pocket for this site....I say good job. He pays for us, and at the same time lets us run the site as Arc said. He knew he wasn't active enough to he turned the reigns over to some people that are. If Miros or someone became the head admin, I think the only thing that would change is the person paying the bills. Reeve isn't a crazy dictator who forces us all to do a bunch of shit we don't wanna do like Sculli did, for the most part he lets the users make all the decisions without making the users pay for the site. This is a private forum, called www.qcdn.org, currently owned by Reeve. With that said, he can do whatever the fuck he wants to do with it. Make the skin Pink, ban me out of pleasure, wipe his ass with it, sell it to an outsider. Doesn't matter, it's his decision.

The fact is, like Reeve or not, he has made it so we have a community to come to all this time since Sculli left, and he hasn't turned it into some G-rated care bear world where you couldn't say boo without getting walking papers. He has *always* gotten shit from a good chunk of people in the forums, he has *always* had to hear it no matter what decisions he's made. Ffs, even when he did what so many people wanted and gave the majority of control over to Cmdr and then Miros to admin, people were still pissing and moaning "Oh he's never around how dare he change anything." Is it possible to comprehend that you are here because Reeve hasn't said fuck this and killed the site? Be a little grateful we still have QCDN. Some changes might irritate you, and yes, I agree that it's a wise course of action to take into account what the people who give your site traffic think about the site. But the bottom line is, like it or not, it isn't ours to decide. Period.

I agree with what others have said... There are ways of getting your point across that don't involve screaming at the top of your lungs and stomping around like a toddler. Instead of saying things like "This site looks fucking stupid now. Change it back," you could maybe present yourself with a little dignity and make an alternate suggestion. Or simply state what you think minus all the venom and bravado. You catch more flies with honey they say, and somehow I think someone is more apt to listen to what you have to say when you aren't closed-minded and insulting from the moment you begin to speak.

For the record, I also prefer Nightshift still. I thought the white on the new setup was far too bright and that the icons didn't show a clear enough difference between the read and unread forums. I will continue to use Nightshift until it's so buggy it won't function or until a reasonable alternative is created. And see? I said all that without grabbing my torch and pitchfork.

Well, it is an honest question. Being all the responses who have been against the OP have been, "It's his site he pays for it ect ect."

I would so pay for the site if we could just keep it how it was before he changed everything.

All in all, i was mostly upset about how he is forcing us to read blogs to get what we want. I remember when QCDN was only about FFXI, none of this other shit like blogs. Change is not always good.
