To the 1337 sky "navigators"

I'm afraid I'm a little short of knowing sky navigation to the point of perfection. There's an issue I'm having with fact checking something on ffxi-atlas.com . There is a symbol used for both the kirin room and the room adjacent to it. I've only been able to reach the kirin room. Can any of you guys tell me which telepad will warp you to the adjecent (and empty) room?

The map with kirin is the first shown on ffxi-atlas. If we consider that "floor 1" then floors 3 and 4 have warpers with the symbol that warps you to floor 1.

bastid.... that telepad does the kirin room AND the infamous pots room.... it has to do with the game time you get on it.

You're way lucky if you can ONLY get to the Kirin room. I seen people take forty minutes to get there because they go along the lines of 0/9 on reaching the Kirin room...

no, after 3 years of sky i can quite conclusively conclude that it does have to do with the game clock, getting on at odd times and hitting up sends me to kirin 99% latency issues may put you behind the game, for all i know it could be even for dude in japan, but i can tell you it has to do with game time.

With 50/50 odds of getting each room, and there being only 2 types of numbers(even and odd) its really kinda impossible to say whether or not it has to do with game time. Cuz in the end, you do have to account for human reaction time, which will never be perfect.

After 3 years, I'm convinced it's random. I've gone on even, I've gone on odds, I've gone while they were changing back and forth, or near the beginning and the end of both evens and odd; none of it was consistent enough to actually come up with a guaranteed way to make it up there. Going 1/7 when you're going on evens or odds(I've done both) every time is a strong case for it being truely random and not simply due to lag.

It's not random. I had tried to time it over 20 times. I was 20/20

I tried to do it randomly, and my luck was not as good.

It's clearly based on time.
