To the Chicago White Sox:

You may not like the White Sox as far as a baseball team goes, but they have some of the best damn tailgait parties you'd ever go to^^. Especially a Brewers/White Sox game. Weeeeee, good times!!!

Go Stros!!!!!!!

Not really a baseball fan here, but goo white sox. Yes im jumping on the bandwagon (so!?!)

even less people care about the chicago fire.

Ive went to more Chicago Fire games than I've seen Chicago White Sox games. ;)

is that a minor league team? when i saw that, i was thinking about the actual Chicago fire :? what an odd reference.

Soccer team.  MLS!!!

Hell yea! Only time I ever watch sports is World Cup Soccer(every 4 years), occasionally rugby, and football if Pats are in Super Bowl(which didnt give me a lot to watch for a while). So ya... don't watch too much...

The Cubs will never have a healthy pitching staff for an entire year... they're not going to the series any time soon, not in the next couple years at least unless they make some drastic changes.

It's just nice to see some new blood in the World Series anyway. It will also be interesting how many people remain Red Sox fans after they don't make it to the WS next year, either. :)

Being from the 'burbs myself AND can't give two shits about televised sports (participating > watching), I hope the SOX get swept as well.
Then the Simpsons won't get pre-empted every night.

Homer-Hateing bastards!

Soooo yah, I guess y'all know by now eh? Woot!!!!!

Well, there defiently was some sweeping involved, and the Simpsons wont be pre-empted....

Imagine if the Cubs had won 2 years ago? All the curses in the MLB would be gone.
Now, just the Cubbies are cursed.

yeah unfortuneatly the cubbies are still without TEH win.
At least someone got swept. Hurray for normal tv programming again.

You gotta feel sorry for Houston. Man that really sucks to go to the
world series and not win any games.

Fox Asks White Sox To Play Yankees For 'Real World Championship'
October 27, 2005 | Onion Sports

HOUSTON, TX—In a historic development in the 2005 Major League Baseball postseason, Fox executives announced that the Chicago White Sox, who defeated the Houston Astros in four games after a 1-0 victory Wednesday, must now play the New York Yankees in the best-of-seven "Real World Series" beginning Saturday night at 8 p.m., in order to determine the actual world champion. "The White Sox must complete one final challenge before they may be crowned true champions," Fox president Peter Liguori announced over Minute Maid Park's PA system, interrupting the White Sox's celebration. "The Yankees are the keepers of the Real World Series trophy, and in order to win it, the White Sox must travel to New York and beat Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Randy Johnson, and the other formidable, marketable stars who await their arrival." Liguori added that, in the event that the White Sox decline the challenge, the Red Sox have been scheduled to stand in for them.

oh yeah and I sort of got normal tv programming back...
Now they are putting Football on as a filler. I only have one real channel.
Can't they put sports on ESPN where it belongs?

I'm just a grumpy old man who talks about "the good old days".

Old man voice "Back in my day, cable TV barely had any commercials.
and we liked it that way. Now you pay for tv and they get paid twice by
hosting commercials... dag nabbit"
