wow, just attempted the BCNM... came COMPLETELY unprepared xD The boss have a move that causes 4 copies of himself <.< the move itself causes a strong stun effect. He completely pwned me in like 30 sec while stunned >.<

only have to bring his HP to 25% and he'll give up.
 
Would Hundred Fists + Faiths be adequate rape to do this in a small group?
 
um, I'm not sure. Like I said, when he splits in to 4, he uses a strong stun move at the same time. I was stunned (or terrorized?) for like 30 sec until they finally killed me with various moves.
 
Yeah, I was with Uzor's group, the first time we went rdm x3, blm, war, blu, and we wiped XD then luckily 5 of us had 75 blm and manaburned it, he 2 hr'd, but we still won with our one rdm CS nuking it down.

I think our group was first to win this fight too and finish up all these missions, but a lot of people were trying out Einherjar first I guess.
 
The copies are pretty weak. They also disappear after a short while and seemed to disappear if they were kited off. He can do this multiple times during the battle. I didn't notice any stun though when he split.
 
He has another move that can stun though. If he's at low HP and he's being fed TP from multiple melees it's quite possible that he could use them more or less back to back.
 
I believe his Meikyo Shishui did about 3-4k dmg to each of our blms, and all 5 wiped, leaving the rdm barely alive to CS nuke and kill it at 25% or something.
 
He has Meikyo Shisui too? Both times I went he did Mijin near the end, 1000 damage even to 75 brd both with and without barfire. It's nice having a ToAU mission that's actually a bit of a challenge so far.
 
I think he meant Mijin Gakure rather than Meikyo Shisui.
 
well i did this bc 4 times i and i will tell you what i believe i have learned from it so far.

He hits like a fucking mac truck .. the main one was hitting me on brd and the nin for about 200-300 a hit on non crits and the clones hit for ~50. Also his regular katana swings seem to take more than one shadow at a time... our nin was without ichi or ni a few times getting haste and march. Learned this when it was me and the nin seeing what we can do on it alone.

As for the clones it is not just four .. it seems to be able to bring out enough to match the party that you go there with. The reason i say this is because we were screwing around while waiting on someone to arrive with 4 people (nin brd whm blu) and we got it to 35% just the 4 of us it was never really that hairy getting there the only time that we ran into problems is when the nin got owned by some teleport and screw u move. But the point is that when we went in with 4 both times he popped clones he only popped 3.

When we decided to go in the third time it was 6 of us .. nin brd blu blm whm rdm. The first time we went in the plan was for me since i kited them with three of them to kite the clones by casting horde lullaby on the group and then running like an ass. Well that didnt work well at all cause as soon as the clones popped i got raped within 1/3 of a lap around the BC, then the nin died and we wiped out.

Fourth run i think we learned something extremely valuable... something happened when the clones popped and this time the blu was supposed to kite them since he got cacoon and all that blu stuff and was /nin. Well the blu didnt have the right spell ready when they spawned so i horde lullabied them to get them off the tank and proceded to kite them... once again there were 5 of them. However this time they did not kill me infact they hardly took down stoneskin. Cause of this we did win with no 2hrs and no deaths the second run ... infact i think we were all still over half mp still.

After the 4th run once we were done we decided to look back at the log and noticed that this run the rdm cast gravity which stuck on the main guy before the split and also the blm noted that when they split the clones have the same HP%. This leads us to believe that all debuffs get split with the clones so put grav on before the split and u can kite the clones with ease.. hell i did it on brd/whm. Also incase u were wondering u cannot sleep anythign in here sleep was only used as a tool to get hate since the clones come out hate free. Ideally rather than a bard maybe would be a thf using cyclone or something but u use what u got right...

Also we didnt get magine gaukre'd but get a good whm and that shouldnt be an issue i dont think.

All and all yea it was difficult but there seem to be some tricks that make him easier like ignoring the clones and letting them be kited til they depop and getting debuffs on the main (i want someone else to confirm this one for me since i only have first hand experience). We beat it straight up tho in roughly 6 min after casting a ton of buffs and resting to full so time is not an issue.

His shadows are "exact" copies of himself. They have the same TP, and do everything simultaneously. All of them used different moves on me at the same time, so I guess I was lucky and he had TP when he split, resulting in him stunning me and then proceed to pwn me xD

And yes, Dejavu, you're right. That made it easier for our groups aswell. His shadows didn't even have time to reach us before they died since we cast gravity .p like I said, they are "exact" copies, only they hit slightly weaker, and have less HP.

So his splitting into different bodies of himself is actually a good thing, thx god. I was worried about this BC

Well it's not *good*, but you can abuse it to limit the problems. Also, generally kiting isn't a problem for either the main guy or the copies, since all of them will cheerfully stop and ranged attack and use ninjutsu frequently. (You can get lucky and they'll all be in the mood to melee you, but generally they're quite content to stay far away if you keep moving.)
 
well we wiped one round cause i got boned while kiting since we stuck silence but not gravity. the one after that we had grav and silence up and they were a joke
