ToAU PS2 question...

Im trying to install ToAU onto the ps2, but I put the cd in, without ever installing it before, all it gives me is a "Reinstall" option saying that its already installed.... did that patch install the whole thing when it DLed before? >.> anyone offer any ideas? Id rather not go through a total reinstallation, because I dont want to lose my macro's, SSs, and anything else...
 
Hmmm. Try serching threw the the menu before the PoL Menu, like where your Account is on. See if there are any options in there.
 
I tried, I didnt see anything, when you put the CD in, it loads up a menu before PoL... options are like, "Start POL" "Reinstall POL" "Reinstall FFXI" etc...
 
thinkin about it, just wondered if anyone had any ideas before i went through the 2 hours on hold >.>
 
To install this on ps2. First load up the playonline viewer. When you get to the screan that has your POL ID "Log on screan" look for install. From there just follow the directions. The screan will go black for about a minute and you will get to the. ToAU load menue.
 
turn ps2 on w/o game in there

then start up POL

at login screen has install option...

take er from there
 
ok, ty lol... /hates ps2 version <.< so much harder the pc... pc just put cd in and it installs itself, lol... o well ^^ thanks for the help
 
Hmmm I get my 360 version today will i have problems like this?

If someone gets it for 360 please post info of what you need to do. And for new people just coming onto FF with they need to pay the Live Fee and the FFXI fee also?
 
Damit i just installed on my PS2 i have 13,058 files to download now :(.
 
I remember when I was installing CoP, you're supposed to start PoL but NOT log on, on the main menu there's an option to install stuff. It then says to put in the CD and stuff...
