Ok, i am gonna be getting lvl 50 today......and then i am going to start farming, hopefully so i can by a snipers or two...

I was wondering, any ideas for a lvl 50 drk?

Have you tried Tiger Fangs in Batallia downs? It might be a bit rough for you, if it is, then try Jugner Forest. You can kill Trees, Beetles, Tigers in jugner, probably make around 40k-50k/hour if you really work hard. Hope this helps :) .

i used to kill bees in konschtat highlands

lvl 50 opens alotta places up to farm, since u can sub war for double attack and stuff like that. My suggestions are 3 places which have been successful for me:

1) Pashow Marshlands: almost everything here drops something useful, u got bees for chips, crawlers for silks (rare drop on those though), goobbue for moss and tree cuttings, and the main thing are Leeches for beastman blood (40k/stack)

2) Beaudeux: Especially for when u get bored in pashow, but i recommend coming here with an empty inventory. Old quadavs drop helms that are 1.5-1k at the AH or 900 for a quest in bastok that racks up fame, not to mention a kool title "Avenger" Also, the Ooze's that spawn there are like mini-Stroper Chymes. they very rarely drop Dodge Earrings, which price fluctuate almost daily between 100k-50k

3) Korroloka Tunnel: Come here when ur in a good mood, cuz sometimes there can be sellers that can piss u off (just ask any of my LS mates about Flood and Wbanwat...) The main thing to kill in here is Jellies, oil sells for around 10k a stack. Also, Morion Worm is a fun NM to kill, just bring along an Iron Ore, and when u see a '???' trade it to it to spawn the morion. 100k morion tathlum drop, fairly rare as im 0/15 with TH2. but still, its fun.

Well, those are my regular places i farm, and im starting to get the hang of NM camping so im doing less and less actual farming, glad to share some info ^^. have any questions just let me know.

Well when I hit 50 I didnt worry about snipers right away, though ofcourse it was on my mind. First I leveled ninja up to 20, and then leveled thf to 40 (w/ninja sub ofcourse). Once that was out of the way I continued leveling to 55.

From 50-55 I spent my fair share of time in Ordell's Caves, when the old gil seller crew was there (Dokyii, Beocheo, Nuki, Oain, etc.) so it was rough but I did manage claims and a couple of rings then. I used those proceeds to work on gobbie bag 1-4, or whichever bag has your max at 55 and also used it to do all the mogsafe expansions.

At 55 I bought a few of the RK armor set with conquest points and the rest I bought with gil, they were all just about 100k a piece or so, then. At 55 I continued with better luck in Ordells Caves. It was like right after they did that huge gil seller ban. The Ordells crew was gone and ofcourse every player and their mom was swarming the place at first, but after a while it died down to only a few regulars. Me being one of them. I had lots of claims.. far too many.. but drop rates suck balls on the stroper chyme, so I ended up getting about 2-3 more rings (after a few weeks of camping) and used that money to buy myself snipers, and new earrings as well. Then I went back to leveling.

I stopped at 58 to farm for a Hauby, went to Ordells again to try my luck. Still had a pretty good claim ratio even when the new gil sellers started to show up. Though, they soon got the pattern down, and would kill the chyme off in under a minute or so (which reduces the overall time you'd be waiting for a spawn, thus increasing the amount of times it would spawn). When I did get claims it always would take me 2-3 minutes to kill it. I eventually got tired of these new gil sellers and stopped going to the caves, unless for some reason I did a search in Ordells and they weren't in the area (this did occur a few times).

I switched to farming tiger fangs and mythril beastcoins in Beaucidine Glacier. It's a pretty isolated area, and there are a decent amount of tigers there, and they're lined up pretty nice. They just arent as easy as the ones in Battila Downs. I'd kill the tigers, and every 5 minutes fight a gob and attempt to steal mythril beastcoins from them. Usually staying till I got atleast one stack of coins, by this time I'd usually have several stacks of tiger fangs (as stealing with /thf is teh sux, but it works... sometimes). Somtimes id luck out and even if steal didn't work a beastcoin would drop after i killed a gob. :D

Needless to say, this was and is a very time consuming way to farm, and not really all that great of a gil/hr ratio. It will get you gil though. On the way out through Battila Downs I would finish off whatever stack of fangs I had left on the tigers there then head to jeuno.

I now make my gil doing something else.. that's already way too crowded and competitive most of the time, but I find it works, and doesn't take nearly as long to make a bigger profit than my fang/beastcoin run would. Will I tell ya how, no.. but if you search for me, you can probobly take a guess.

With solid ranged attack gear, you can do a great job in Tahrongi Canyon with 1-hit free farming. That's where I did my farming before I went solely to crafting. Bees for chips, earth and wind elementals for clusters, and the crawlers are completely predictable. Pygmaoi drop and steal saruta cotton. There is a ring of trees. Crawlers only spawn under the trees. All you have to do is run the loop.

This was as a thief though. I don't know what the drop rates are for everyone else. Probably about a hundred K for two and a half hours of work I guess. I did this back when silk was 10k a stack and it did nicely.

I'd say Tahrongi or the marshes. Same mob types basically, just different elementals, and goobue adds there.

I had success with several things.

I'd like to say though that if you're not a level whore and have some time to relax and stuff I'd invest into crafting - woodworking is easy to get to 60 and becomes profitable 40-60. Also you could level thief to 45ish - you'll want it for drk sub anyhow.

Um as far as farming there is...

Upper/middle Delkfut's tower loop (didn't farm there much but a friend of mine made 1mil there in a month)

I personnally had success with...

Beehive chips (try konschtat highlands or rolanberry fields, or even giddeus)
Silk Thread - Rolanberry Fields, Pashow Marshlands.
Tree Cuttings - goobbues in pashow. (maybe even look into gardening, I hear that is profitable).

Jugner Forest (I farmed this area easily from 40-50)
Misteltoe - From Walking Trees
Tiger Fangs and skin
Lightning Elementals - a couple of elementals spawn there every so often, quite frequent.
Sub thief and use "Steal" to steal Silver Coins from orcs near the Davoi zone. This is also where 2 walking trees pop and several tigers.

Also if you have a friend who is a 45thf team up with them and camp NM's on mondays in the morning or early afternoon if you're free ;-)

hope i've helped
