Man, kings and endgame just seems like complete and utter bullshit. I really don't think the gear you get from it is worth all the crap you all put yourselves through to get it.

I'll stick with abysmal Nyzul drops and Zeni farming just to have to not deal with the drama.

Are aquarian abjurations really... really worth it all? ...really?

On another note, last year I spent $2,370 on a cruise for my girl and I. It was much more fun than anything I could have spent it on in game, even if it meant having all the chances at claiming all the HNMs on the server.

Hey guys lets ignore Excim's point and look at how much he spends on a cruise.

What I have always wanted to know is how much time would you save efficiency wise by getting a king drop versus spending all that time camping doing what you want to do anyway...especially if you do things fairly traditionally (between 12-18 people). This is of course...assuming you don't like staring at Darters (or the waterfall in case you can't see Darters).
 
well i spent probably 700 jus go ion teh cruise i mean i love to drink but i didnt get very much alcohol on tehre cuz shit was expensive

Oh I get his point alright, and the fact that people would rather spend that money to cheat, instead of say.......going out for the trip of a lifetime........is truly beyond me. Seriously, I would like to get into ya'lls heads to see how spending over $2k on that just to give you a better chance at claiming an HNM equates to a valid investment.........I mean hell, if you don't want to spend it fine, but sheesh, maybe put it into your IRA or in a CD, you will at least get some extra money back in return.

Slightly confused on the Diaga mpk thing. Last time I checked if you agaed any monster it would come kill the caster. As no one on either side can say this was done 100% and by whom, I have to doubt it was done. I am pretty sure honest members would have noticed one of theirs dropping dead rather instantly. Even if they ran the Darter to your party some should have depopped. There is also a time lag on aggroing when something either repops or loses hate within the pop range.

I also have to wonder at what point does an honorable shell hold themselves above an eye for an eye way of playing. By MPKing because you feel you were MPKed just gives another shell the reasoning they need to mpk you.

As for curing your members, some people do actually help others when they need help. I was up getting that fat galka his ice for his beer when I saw an LS taking on Jormy. I stood about curing them all for a good 20 minutes just so I could watch their fight. In sky I also have just stood curing an LS because their healer died. Raised their healer too so they could keep their claimed NM. Not everything has to be an MPK attempt. This drama is just one reason I stay away from HNM shells.
 
Not sure if you understand what exactly happened. The only reason another LS is given a chance to Diaga mobs would be say if we claimed Faf/Nid and Darters as well. Since the Darters link we would have hate on all of them in the Aery, which would lead to us attempting to Sleepga them. Sleepga II is more hate then Diaga ever would be, so no the mobs won't ever go for the Diaga caster UNTIL the people a top the hate list are dead. Every time it's happened to us we've managed to kill the Darters without wiping, so there would never be the chance to go for the Diaga caster.

Please please please save the "They were curing to help you" speech. Doesn't happen in the Aery, and it's not a solid case when you cure then stand on the mobs tail and Invincible trying to flail the mob.

It becomes a very different story in the world of competition, generally LS's do not help each other out, instead they hope for the worst so there's a chance of them being able to get claim if something bad happens. Some LS's do like to team up and help each other, which is ok too I guess. I mean HA helped us a couple days ago when someone decided to try and MPK, so mad props to them, but it doesn't make us friends.

I also see nothing dishonerable with an Eye for an Eye, but to each their own.
 
Still waiting for a name.. Surprises me nobody in Abso noticed and remembered the name since we supposedly attempted to mpk you three times by Diagaing flies. Aura does it once and you make a thread about it in the public part of your forum and name the person that did it.
 
There was no thread made about Aura's attempt. We had our regular Faf thread in our kills section with the mention of it, but that was it. In all honesty I haven't actually cared to ask our members for a name either, when I'm at work(like now) I get bored and wanna know what's happening when I'm not there which is why there was such a big mention of Aura in that topic, because I wasn't there and I needed to know who and why, had I been there, there would have been no mention about Aura apart from the first post in which they weren't actually named I'm willing to bet.

This right here. Just because you like to MPK shells that beat you, and because you think everyone is out to get you, doesnt mean people are ACTUALLY out to get you. Some people are ACTUALLY nice in this game ya know? Ive seen it happen plenty of times so dont start with the "It doesnt happen in 'name of place' ok?"

Funny thing is, I agree with Jyakotsu on this one, no proof or it never happened. At this point its just a case of "he said, she said."
 
Aura has honestly messed with Absolution more then Sativa has, I haven't seen Sativa do anything more then a member curing someone in claim alliance when hell they should have blockaid on.
