Tom Tit Tat Times Two

I know this seems trivial, but I'm sure it doesn't happen often... I was just farming in West Sarutabaruta, when I came across Tom Tit Tat within 30 minutes of me starting.. I beat him (THF30/NIN15) rather easily, and he dropped the Fruit Punches. I thought it was pure luck.. and didn't realize truly realize how lucky I was this evening until I ran into Tom yet again about an hour later! He didn't drop them this time (not sure if it's due to me having the Fruit Punches still in inventory, or just not dropping at all), but I considered myself exceptionally lucky to have fought him twice in two hours time! ^^; I didn't run into him a third time, though.. I'm sure another one of the farmers in the area might have got him, but I guess I'll never know.. Though with the haul I brought in tonight, I'm at least 80,000 gil richer. :biggrin:
I've never had this much luck before.. perhaps due to me having a new lucky charm in my inventory? ^^; I'll never know for sure, but I will say this: If you personally think something is lucky, go ahead and keep it. You never know what sort of happiness it may bring you.

Best luck I had was when I was harvesting in giddeus. I was running to some harvest point when hojo poped and droped me monster sigma. I was happy that day.

Glad to hear everyone's been having their lucky days recently. Congrats Farys and Ceram on your Boots and Signa, respectively. I've also been noticing that I've been getting lucky on drop rates recently...
Out of curiousity... how many of you have "lucky charm" items that you keep in your inventory all the time? I myself have all three types of Mandragora Buds and a Wild Rabbit Tail. I know they've been said to be only a myth on whether they increase luck, but to me, they are lucky... and therefore, I guess they are for me. :wink:
I also have a Drake Ring, given to me by a close friend, that I've kept in my Mog House... I've considered it a keepsake, but ever since I was given it... I've been rather fortunate when it comes to various things, such as missions, events, etc. Maybe I should start carrying it around with me, too. ^-^

Nice. I keep a 4-Leaf bud and carby ruby on me, only reason i have carby ruby is because it can be a bitch to drop and once on my way to Bibiki i killed one leech and it dropped so i figure it cant hurt to have it on me. Havent killed any nms recently tho

I just noticed I had best result in Minning when I was using lucky Egg. now I tossed it away and my minning became Crappy ><

I keep a black cat and a lader on me, so when i get a NM i let the cat walk in front of me and i walk under the lader. I think these so "lucky charm" items are BS.

Well... as I had stated in bold, and as SE reps have said in interviews: If you personally believe something, anything is lucky... you never know what may happen.
I simply said that I believe the things I carry with me are, and I'm sure other people have their own things that don't aren't in the list of "luck" items. I mean, like I said, besides the Four-Leaf Mandy Bud, I have a Drake Ring as well as the Two-Leaf and Three-Leaf Mandragora Buds. None of which say they are lucky, but to me, they are. ^-^ And so far, they have brought me good fortune over time.
