Haha holy shit Kipsy! Nightmare played up here in Vancouver about 3 weeks ago! I got to hang out with them a little bit and everything! They all loved my mohawk and told me it looked awesome! Haha can't believe you know who they are! Dir En Grey Is awesome too!

My Nightmare is this band, a Japanese indies band.

I doubt they've even left Japan to play in the surrounding asian countries, they don't even have a Major contract yet...

Or perhaps you've seen EclipsE? They're a Canadian/Japanese band that has preformed some Nightmare songs, or maybe you're thinking of an English band called Nightmare?

I'm a huge fan of this band and I really think I'd hear if they were playing outside of Japan...

Nope this is their first time outta japan! Can't remember the exact date I saw them it was definately them. I speak a little bit of japanese and was just kinda messing around with them and saying some of the shit I could remember. They spoke very little english lol. That night I went with the devil locks and they said I looked like not-so-muscular Danzig lol. I tried looking for any more tour dates but this was all that I could find. Hope you have better luck than me on finding out about the tour.
 
It's a different band Kyle ^_^;

They spell their name differnetly, they write it in Katakana, not in english.

in english, there name would be pronounced "Naitomea" not Nightmare.

And they're definiatly not "Japanese Hardcore" they're a lot more pop than Dir en grey.

They're also not under "Brickwallrecords" the company that licensed them was "Nippon Crown".

I checked out the "brickwallrecords" site, and they had a small pic of the "Nightmare" band. It's definantly not the same band. Naito are VisualKei, very pretty boys, lots of makeup, lots of elabroate costumes, and the music is most DEFINATELY not Punk.

It's just a case of two bands with a very similar name. But I'm glad you enjoyed the band you saw.
