Torrent Help

[Xemnas]

I cant get FFXI installed on my comp Via the CD's I have. I heard I can get the game files in some sort of "Torrent" form. I have all my origonal registration keys and POL access and all, so can anyone help me out with this?

Where do I get these torrents, how do they work, what do I do, etc.

Just to let you know, sculli has said he doesn't approve of people posting about file sharing on QCDN. He doesn't want to get in trouble for "advocating computer piracy."

But if im using my own registration codes and origonal POL account, then im not stealing anything.....technically.....

But its Sculli's board and if he deems this as piracy I have no choice but to respect his decision.

though it is nor illegal to copy FFXI it is "wrong" in some peoples eyes, a GM call and u fine out they do not care as long as u do not use a cracker to get reg codes

Actually, it technically still is piracy, because it's still downloading copyrighted software for free. Sculli has said on the boards before for people to not post about trading images of their game CD's, even if they were not sharing the account numbers.

I personally don't care about it, but then I don't really care about most of the piracy laws.
