Yeah this is my buddys band. They are from Pittsburgh and I would love to see them go somewhere else because the Pittsburgh music scene is horrible. I was a member of it for 4 years and know from the inside that it sucks. Really though listen to their shitty demos that they have on the myspace and send them props. If you live in the Pittsburgh area and ever want to see them, show up to their shows and drink some beers with us.

Personally I like Orions song the best, but they do have some stuff though that is great that they haven't recorded yet. Check it out.

Pittsburgh isn't the problem. The north is known, now days, for having some kickass bands and labels, Willowtip and Relapse (Both in PA and Relapse is in Pitt. I do work for both) just to name a few, it's their sound. When you hear music like that you want searing, shreading guitar work, the peak of drumming excellence and bass to top it off. Sadly, they are playing a genre that has some of the most profound players of our times and in which have set the current standard for the genre. Bands like that are aiming for the Dream Theater suit and you have to be damn good to the point of perfection to pull out of any place with that style. With all of that said, I'm not saying they are a bad band, they aren't, but the technicality isn't there for them to "make it out".
