Hmmm you'd think if you're good enough to farm 9mil gil you'd be able to spend it..... :idea:

If you invest in crafting i would take up two crafts that go hand in hand, i have a couple examples of this, however not one is coming to mind now :? Sorry, i'll get Tyran to post those for me :roll:

and as a RDM or BLM section, i would choose items that can be made to "help" like gear, or maybe potions like ethers ect...

Choices that fit those 2 mage jobs would be:
Alchemy (for silent oils, ethers, potions ect...)
Cooking (yag drinks ect...)
Clothcraft (making items that mages can actully WEAR ^^)

Levels You Can Get With 9Mil
84+ish Alchemy (sell back and make gil easy
62-75 Clothcraft
90+ cooking (you can sell food abck and make gil back easy)


its all depending on how u obtain materials and what you do with finished products, as a blm i went Alchemy to make silent oils (great money maker atm) for sky ect.. cuz magic = death in sky and so forth... so up to you but those 3 would prolly suit a mage job more then smithing/goldsmithing/woodworking ect...
 
BRD doesnt farm... they leech XP PTs and take the KS and use them to make uber loot in the BC's!!

i wrote my msg while u wrote that so id say get Cooking to 100, get cloth/alch to 60, and every other craft to 60 after that, from there you can be good at gil making even quicker for large sums of gil (also get the GP items for cooking as it will give u 3+ skills and runmor HQ+ rates ect...)

*nod* I'm 63, my only 'craft' that's leveled at all is Fishing, and it's at 1.

I don't need to craft to make my gil, farming and bcnm runs do just fine. Not to mention camping a NM every once in a while doesn't hurt (but I hate it).
 
ok i whould use 500k to get cooking to 100 for cursed soup. then I whould us the rest for alchamy. I say this because you will be doing a mage you can make you own food (less gil out of pocket) and it whould be nice to make your own meds that way the only thing you buy is gear. I whould like to know also what it is that droped.
 
KS 30 - V claws and ingots we did the BC many times and came out 9mil each between tthe three of us :D

yea cooking to 100 ugh unstackable materials can seriously blow me >.<
i rather spend 100k a synth if the materials were stackable... thats honestly the only reason why i havent taken it any further >.>

actully crafting isnt needed at all, its just somthing do on the side to make gil, i know people have havent touched a craft till 75.. yet they were rich by farming, BCNMs, ect... so crafting isnt always a GREAT idea, becuase you use lots of gil to lv a craft
 
we did the 6 person KS 30 with the scorpions platinum scorps or some shit?

edit: not shure why i said 3 people was prob thinking of the BCNM 60 curel fight where you can get pentice rope from, i want to do that one some time but idk who to go with :o

What jobs are required for this Plantoon Scorpion x6 KS30? j/w, drops look good. Also, {Whats the battle plan?}
 
Get as many blms as you can, aoe nuke & sleepga. Saw a video the other day of a blm solo it. Brd + 5 blms makes it extremely easy.
