TP Body, need suggestions.

I am currently using an AJ for TP as Askar won't drop for me (seriously 0/36 on seeing it). So I want input on some ideas.

I am a long way off of seeing homam body (or legs for that matter), and can't find a salvage shell for ares. Should I focus all my time/tags on trying to get an askar body, or buy Zahaks for TP until I can get askar to drop? Or is there another option that I am over looking and could possibly go for?

With that being said, I use askar legs for tp as well since I don't have homam yet. Better option (other than ASA legs with haste) than those as well that I am forgetting?

I'd just stick with AJ until you get Askar Body. 's what I did.

If you go /sam to a lot of events, and have the resources/time go for aurum body. If that's out of reach, keep trying for Askar. Both bodies are great options for TPing in, and make reaching a 6-hit much easier. Homam is alright, but I would rank it lower on my list because you can cap your accuracy without it which makes it not all that great. Not only that, but if you don't have homam legs currently I would much rather spend my points on those over the body.

My list is:

1. Aurum Cuirass - best all-around body piece imo. Great to TP, and WS in /sam or /nin sub doesn't matter. Macro it out for jumps unless you don't have anything better.

2. Ares's Cuirass - If you can cap your accuracy, and reach a 6-hit without Aurum or Askar this is about as good as it gets.

3. Askar Korazin - If this body makes or breaks your 6-hit, then I would rank it above Ares. /Nin it's still easily trumped by it though.

4. ACP Hauby - Another great all around piece regardless of sub. If you're lacking on accuracy, and are still looking to achieve a 6-hit make it STP+4 and Accuracy+10 though.

5. Zahak's Mail - I don't see what the hype behind this body piece is. It's a good body to WS in, but I wouldn't tp in it unless I only had this or AJ to choose from. Even then your money could be spent better elsewhere, but it's your choice to make not mine.

6. Homam Corazza - Good if you're really hurting for accuracy on bigger things like gods I guess, but I'd still use the ACP hauby over this any day even under those circumstances.

What I would do: Try and stick it out for Askar body. Or if you know of any shells/groups selling pops, or the body itself grab Aurum for the same amount that Zahak's is worth, or even less. (Shameless plug: I actually have a Tyger pop if you're interested in buying one! Just send a PM my way.)

As for legs Askar is fine until the add-on legs or homam.

Bleh, misclick erased my post, so here's the short version:

ASA legs with acc/haste is the best you can get, Askar is a fine piece in that slot. AJ works just fine until you get bigger r/e pieces. Good luck in Nyzul, too.

I would also recommend this new piece which hasn't been out for too long:

You can get it off an NM called Picolaton

A few of my [DRG] friends who can't do much endgame have opted to camp this NM for the body piece.

I am well aware of that ugly bitch... I actually wrote most of the guide for that NM on wiki. I'm 0/5 on it atm and I really can't tell if I'm willing to sacrifice looks for a little boost in acc XD

Eh yeah I said the same thing, but I eventually caved in and just got it. Haven't looked back since.
