Already has a Quetz profile on FFXIAH, what's that overall (server) mean? Does that mean he's been through 8 different servers?

The FFXIAH profile ranking means (overall ranking) (current server ranking) so it defines him as 477 overall and 8 on Quetz.

Not really. Its just a tally of how many jobs/crafts/missions you have done.

I don't whats all that special about him using a gsword. I can have the same set up as him - the vbelt and prud torque <.< I'm sure(hoping) that he has a scythe too. I stand around in naglering too cuz its badass

Ah ok. Thoguht it was along the line sof adding up total worth of all your gear + crafts + job tally, such and such, converts it to a point system and tallies you.

THAT would be awesome.

No, their criteria is incredibly lame (zomg getting rank 10 is serious business!) and it only counts people who have filled out an ffxiah profile ie almost no one.

What? A scythe and ring when worn together provides "enhances souleater effect" (+2% HP to SE), one of the highest base damages on a scythe while maintaining LOW delay for the highest DPS outside of relic and rare/expensive HQ, +7 STR between the two items, and +5 accuracy the whole time. Yah, that sounds pretty crappy to me too...

Server transfers are primarily people who need to run for whatever reason. If they were good people and/or good players, there is no reason for them to transfer because they can easily find a group that would accept them based on that criteria alone. The only real benefit to a server transfer is a new start and if you need that, it means you're not one of the above people; in other words, all server transfers with very few exceptions.

I find that answer extremely biased, but then again looking at Quetz's hopping linkshell past I can't say I blame you.

The reason I don't and cannot justify people transfering is because they have to have friends on old servers that they'll miss. If someone is willing to toss aside all those friends for a fresh start, it really doesn't bode well and it says that a piece of virtual reality is worth more to them than any long standing relationship. And that will apply to any new players they meet on the new server as well.

Now that that is said, there are exceptions and I do mean that, but they are still very few. People who have real life friends on other servers who want to play with those friends; however, I don't see a vast majority of players starting on different servers from their friends nor most transfers using that as a justification. And the above paragraph still applies to even those people.

Since you are so worried about it though I can fill you in, since i know him in game.

He also has every Sea Torque, Valhalla Head, Ares Body and a Ridill, among many other items. He has friends on this server, there has to be no negative intentions with this.

I don't understand this mentality, see a new well geared character, you automatically dislike him and put him in the spot light. He is also a very nice guy and you would probably know it if you sent him a /tell instead of randomly displaying him on this site.
