Transformers came out today here in Toronto as it's the 3rd. I noticed we got Spiderman 3 a day ealier than the states too.

My roommate just came back from it. 2 things to take note...

1. Absolutly nothing impresses my roommate. He's a movie freak too.

2. He just got back and is totally freaking out. I never seen him this way ever, it's kinda freaking me out.

At this point i can garuntee the movie is freakin awesome

I'm going to see it on Friday. I'm taking a trip to Ottawa and have plans to see it. I just might go and see it the hell right now. I swear nothing brings a tear to that mans eye.

there was actually an advanced screening on the 2nd and 3rd here in michigan. i really wanted to watch it, but i promised the GF i would wait for her.

its a possibility since there were a second generation of sorts, of transformers
 
Just got back. Loved it. Fucking loved it.
 
I like long movies too lol. I have all the special edition Lord of the Rings. I just thought if it was gonna run that long, that could have cut some stuff and added more autobots.
 
I just got back from seeing this, awesome, just awesome. Special effects were flawless, and Sam's character had the whole theatre laughing. Was just as fun movie.

I can definately see a sequel.

Starscream flew of into orbit, and Optimus Prime was calling for all surviving autobots to come to earth. Then add the fact of the way they disposed of the bodies.
 
I just got back from seeing it also. Amazing movie!!! I'm gonna see it again as well, though not in theatres >.>

Sam's character was indeed very funny. Movie itself was funnier than I expected it to be..I loved it

yea, I'm guessing they didn't die?. Well, im sad jazz had to go :-( I liked him.
Plus Barricade (The police car) wasn't shown after the highway chase and it could possibly leave him for a Sequel as well for Scorponok.

That is true, most of scorponok was still around. Theres atleast 3 deceptacons left.

And too bad about Jazz. But I couldn't help but laugh when he died.

Megatron: "No, I want two." *Rips him into two pieces*

when optimus was talking out his plan to destroy the allspark i think i remember someone saying that they didnt know if it would kill him or not, and i dk why but everything that the allspark transformed, transformed evil, sooooo u think the allspark would evolve megatron into something more powerful and more evil (galvatron)

barricade wasnt killed to my knowledge and im pretty sure scorponok got away and starscream could be going to recruit more decepticons so theres plenty of options open for a sequel

ps. i would cream my jeans if they brought in unicron somehow =D, but i head they dropped the ball with galacticus in the fantastic 4 so im not gonna get my hopes up

yeaaa megatron was definalty uber in this movie

i dk if anyone noticed but he was kinda givin it to optimus when they where fighting, i think the win came from wikwiki and the soilders

yeah, thats one thing that disappointed me. Optimus NEVER got the upper hand on megatron. He was beaten around until Sam did what he did to destroy Megatron.

Yea. I dont know about your opinions on Megatron's voice actor but I sort of liked him and sort of hated him a bit :-/. Dunno why but Hugo Waving (is it Waving or weaving) scares me... D-:. I hope they make a sequel and yea I'd cream my pants too if unicron is in the next one if it ever is made.

this acually made me happy cause when the government took bumblebee optimus said "we cannot save bumblebee without harming the humans" optimus's attitude toward other forms of life was really nailed in this movie imo and i think he kinda held back a bit because of that

oh and when megatron and optimus fell from the roof and scattered all those people the entire theater laughed when megatron flicked one of em half way down the block

megatrons and starscreams voices kinda werent what they where, starscream was a more nasily kinda rat soundin originally, i did think that megatrons voice actor captured the maliciousness of the character tho, megatron has been an ever changing character throughout the entire series tho so i understand the change (wasnt the original voice actor unavailable?)

Btw, about Barricade. He was shown as being destroyed by Bumblebee. He showed up in the chase scene for a second, then he wasnt included in the fighting at all. Mightve been a goof on their part. >.>

i noticed that too, i dk if he was acually destroyed destroyed but he was beatin up pretty badly, im sure he gotten repaired between the fight and the chase but i didnt see any of him during the city fight, which leads to believe that he can show up in a sequel

well for the looks of it they may be planning on making a 2nd part to the movie maybe barricade will be included in the fighting after all who knows. he did end up in a chase but they never show him getting kill or toss them with the dead one.
